"With All Dude Respect, Sir..."

Start from the beginning

"Ha! A rapper? You have got to be kidding! You're the crap that I hear on the radio all of the time nowadays causing me to switch the channel?" Mr. Parker asked in an amused tone of voice.

I looked at Nia, who was rolling her eyes and I could tell that she was about to say something to perhaps defend my honor maybe? I chuckled in my head before looking back at her father and shaking my head. It's funny how he didn't mention anything about my education. I guess that he thought that I was joking when I said that my education came first. Guys like him always judge people like me who's trying to make a difference in the world instead of being on the corner and selling dope.

"With all do respect sir, but I'm not at all like the rappers that you may hear on the radio. I rap with a purpose, a message. I don't just rap to rap about something pointless. I express myself and my emotions threw my lyrics. I strive to be that voice that our youth needs to hear because if I can make it on my own then they can to" I finished off my little speech with a round of applause from everyone, but Mr. Parker. Nia's older brother Nathan who like his father was giving me a hard time earlier, but halfway threw dinner he started to lighten up to me, even clapped, but not Mr. Parker. He just sat there with a straight face as if my presence annoyed the crap out of him. I tried all threw dinner to get him to like me, but he just wouldn't crack open...

After Dinner...

Dinner came and went. Soon I was helping Nia carry the dishes into the kitchen to be washed and dried. I offered to help with the clean because my parents always thought me that when you're a guess in someone's home that you always help with the clean up. Mrs. Parker said that I didn't have to help, but I insisted. Plus I wanted a few minutes to be alone with Nia, even if it meant that I had to dry the dishes, while she washed them.

"So, how did you like dinner?" Nia asked me awkwardly

"It was amazing! Your Mom really does know how to cook" I said trying to get out of the awkward place that we were in.

"Boy! I told you that my Mother knew how to cook real good" She said in her attempt at a southern accent. We both busted into laugher at her epic fail of an attempt at a southern accent.

Boy was it amazing to hear her laugh again. Her laugh was like music to my ears.

"How are you two laughing like two hyenas on crack?" Her older brother Nathan came into the kitchen to get something to drink ending our laugh fest for the time being

"Um... Nothing" Nia said, while getting back to washing the dishes. We had two more left

Nathan turned to look at Nia and I with a weird look and then he started laughing as hard as we just were this time it was us giving him a weird look

"What's so funny?" I asked this time curious

"Nothing! "He replied and walked out of the kitchen with his soda in a cup that read I" Love Bobbies"

"Weirdo!" Nia yelled after him, then resume to washing the dishes and making small talk with me

9:36 P.M

It was now 9:36 p.m on a school night and I knew that it was time for me to say my goodbyes to Nia and her family. I said goodbye to everyone, including her father and sister, who tried her hardest to make Nia jealous, but it didn't work this time. As Nia was walking me to the door I remember about the gift that I had bought her, while I was at the mall last week. It was a locket with one of our many Instagram pictures that we took together. It was actually my favorite one, it was the one of me hugging her from behind and her smiling up at me while I smiled down at her. It was taken in one of the first week followed from when I first met her.

"OMG!!!!! Diggy you didn't have too!!!!!" She exclaimed

I laughed "It was worth it tho. Seeing that big smile on your face"

"I love it Dig! Thanks!" She replied with a smile

"You're very welcome ma dear" I gave her a wink and helped her put on her new necklace.

She hugged me so tightly then she continued to walk towards the door with a big smile on her face

She opened the front door and lends the way to my car

"I wish that you didn't have to leave" She said as I opened my car door and put my backpack in the passage seat.

"I wish that I didn't have to leave either, but as soon as I get home and settle in I'll facetime you okay?" I said, while gently stroking her beautiful soft face

Another huge smile appeared on her face once again before I crashed my lips on to her soft ones...

I wonder what happens next... Make sure that you leave a comment and I'll reply back!
