Prompt: Write a poem/story based on a story you read. They should be connected by a similar theme/character

There was once a lonely boy,
Hated by the world,
And when he grew up,
He hated the world right back.
He was an artist,
An architect,
A composer,
And a musician.
One day, high above him
A girl, a beautiful girl
Started to sing.
He knew right then and there,
He would have her.
So he traveled through the Opera house,
In a ghost-like state, and posed
As the Angel of Music to win
Poor Christine's heart.
And it almost worked.
Until Raoul came back.
He came back and stole
Christine for himself.
The Phantom created an Opera
In an attempt to win back Christine
But killed so many along the way.
First there was Buquet,
And then the two civillians
From the chandelier incident
And then came Piangy.
Finally Erik realized that the
Only way to keep Christine
Was by force.
He took her down to his lair
With the intent to marry her.
Of course Raoul came to her rescue (well sort of)
And in the end Erik let them go,
All because of Christine's compassion.
The two ran off to get married
Leaving Erik, once again,
A lonely man,
In his lonely Phantom's mask.

The only reason I wrote this was because I came up with the last two lines first and was like yaaaaas so the rest just happened in order to use those lines ^-^
