"Hate me in daylight, reply to me in the dark — either way, I'm still yours."
🌸 Morning Yoga
"Arrey, look who finally woke up with the sunrise!" Nikki clapped dramatically the second Vidhu walked into the meditation hall.
Akshu gasped, pressing her palm to her chest. "Wait, is this real? Our princess actually sacrificed her beauty sleep?"
Vidhu rolled her eyes, hiding a yawn. "Shut up, both of you. I'm here to increase my lifespan, not shorten it with your torture."
Vishnu, who was already on the mat, grinned. "Welcome, Vidhu madam.
Miracle of Yogamaya — Vidhanya attending yoga. Somebody ring the temple bell."
"I'll throw this mat at you," she muttered, sitting cross-legged, but her posture drooped halfway as her eyes fluttered.
Akshu poked her side. "Don't snore in meditation class. Guruji will throw us out."
"I'm awake!" Vidhu said instantly, straightening her back, but sweat already dotted her forehead within five minutes.
By the end of the session, she collapsed onto the mat dramatically. "I'm suing the university for human rights violation."
Everyone laughed.
But one presence was missing. For the first time, Siddharth wasn't there.

🌙 Meanwhile in Siddharth's Room
The diary was still hugged tight against his chest. His eyes were red, sleepless, as if the night had stretched into a century.
"How do I face her now?" he whispered into the empty room. "She hates me already... what if she finds out I'm Kuttan? She'll cancel the marriage. She'll never forgive me."
The thought sliced through him. He turned on the bed, restless.
What should I do? Should I tell her? Should I stay quiet?
Finally, after countless battles in his head, he exhaled sharply. No. I won't tell her the truth now. Not until I've won her back. Not until she looks at me without hate again.
Dragging himself up, he freshened, then returned to his desk.
He wrapped the diary in thick textbooks, his fingers lingering on the pink cover.
"Safe here.
Until the right time," he muttered, locking it in his drawer before heading to the lab.
But his heart was still chained to it.

☕ Canteen Breakfast
The canteen smelled of hot dosas and steaming coffee.
Shruthi and Vishnu were already seated at a six-seater table when they spotted Vidhu, Akshu, and Nikki.
"Vidhu, here!" Vishnu called, waving.
The trio slid into seats. Shruthi's smile stretched, sugar-sweet.
"Vidhu," she began, leaning in, "are you alright? I've been noticing you... you're short-tempered these days. Even yesterday, you fought with my Siddu."
My Siddu.
The words hit Vidhu like a sour note. Her chest tightened, but she forced a cool smile.
"Nothing like that, ma'am. I just... hate him. I'm not in LKG to stand outside like a six-year-old.
He didn't even ask me for an explanation. Anyway, this is my last year.
Once I finish, I won't be here. So why waste my thoughts on him? I'll just enjoy my college days."
