               Ticking Time Bomb

Even with the medication every patient was knocked up on to hallucinate they're normal state of mind, the scene upon them made it even more depressing.

Though, visiting hour's seemed to be the only highlight of her day. Her boyfriend visited weekly and if the couple was lucky, they got to see a mental patient have a break down.

But today was different for Lea. She's only been in this place for a couple of months now and it's like she's in a very slow and agonizing process of dying.

Liam entered with his visitor pass clipped onto the belt loop of his jeans, a cheeky grin plastered on his lips as he rushed over to Lea's side.

He pecks her forehead before saying ''Hey babe.''

Lea smiled weakly. She loved seeing him so happy. How the glint of joy in his eye brightens her world.

But she's afraid that maybe she's still darkening his.

''Are you okay?'' He questions, placing a hand on her thigh. She put her hand on top of his to remove it.

''Liam, this gotta stop.''

He furrowed his brows. ''Stop what?''

With Liam's hand still in her grip, she gave it a firm squeeze. ''You need to stop coming here. I mean for god sake, you practically spent you're entire summer at Eichen.''

'And I'm pretty sure that for any teen, that is the worst type of punishment.'

''Yeah but it's worth it. You're my girlfriend Lea, and we're on a team.''

She exhaled audibly, speaking ever so softly ''You gotta let me go.''

He shook his head. ''I'm not leaving you.''

She flattened her lips into a straight line in sympathy. This is probably the most hardest thing she's ever had to do.

''I know..''. She removed her hand from his.

''That's why I'm leaving you.''
