Kiyotaka’s Point of View
Dawn slipped into the room with a soft, warm, almost mischievous light.
I slowly opened my eyes, feeling a warm weight clinging to my side. It took me a few seconds to realize: Maki was holding onto me like a koala, her arms and legs wrapped tightly around my body. The strange part wasn’t that… but the fact that we were both naked.
Nothing had happened—I knew that. She knew it too. Somehow, between words and silences, between steady breaths, we had ended up like this during the night. And against all logic… it felt natural. Comfortable.
I opened my eyes a little wider and saw her waking too, a slow blink, still caught in that haze where dreams mix with waking.
A small, satisfied smile curved her lips. Her face carried a serenity she rarely showed.
Maki: I slept… really well.
She murmured in a faint voice, her forehead still resting on my chest.
Though her cheeks flushed red, she didn’t seem willing to let go of me. The contradiction was clear: shame in her eyes, but satisfaction in her expression.
Kiyotaka: I know. It shows.
I replied softly, a hint of irony in my voice.
She tightened her embrace, as if challenging me with the action, though the embarrassment remained.
Before I could add anything, the door suddenly burst open.
Sakura: Kiyotaka! It’s already late for breakfa—!
Her shout froze mid-air.
Behind her, like a wave, came Kuroka, Hinata, Karin, Ichika, and Sato. They all stopped dead in their tracks, eyes wide, breath caught.
The silence was so heavy I could hear Maki swallow nervously.
They stared.
At me.
At her.
At our positions.
And most of all, at the obvious lack of clothes.
The shock was absolute.
Hinata: …
Hinata was the first to find her voice, but she didn’t finish the sentence—she just blushed furiously.
Karin: W-w-what the hell did you two do last night!?
Karin stepped back, hands raised like she had seen a ghost.
Ichika didn’t even pretend. Her gaze shifted between surprise and a dangerous, killing calm.
Sato, however, wore a malicious grin.
Sato: Oooh… I see, I see. A little “special night training,” huh? Some people move fast…
Even the usually quiet Hinata, who preferred to just observe, muttered under her breath:
Hinata: …I expected it from Maki, but… this soon?
Kuroka only laughed softly, her tone dripping with innuendo.
Kuroka: Nya~… how daring…
Meanwhile, Maki, though red as a tomato, kept a proud smirk on her face, as if she was satisfied with what they believed.
But I could feel her body trembling slightly against mine.
Kiyotaka: Wait. Nothing happened.
I finally intervened, raising a hand to halt that avalanche of accusing stares.
