"Don't peak!" Paul shouted from the other side of wherever we are.

I laughed. "I won't Paul, I told you that a thousand times already!" I said while still laughing. He is just so adorable. He always make me feel special and surprises me with stuffs he suddenly thinks of.

Earlier this evening, he arrived at my pad and told me to get ready cause he have a surprise for me. So, we drove downtown into nowhere and before we reached the intersection, he gave me a hanky and instructed me to blindfold myself. I'm so used to him always giving me out-of-the-blue surprises so i didn't protest much and just wrapped the black hanky around my head, covering my eyes.

Last time he surprised me, he hired a videographer and filmed the day I met him and the moments we shared for the last five years. It was funny that he got two people impersonating us, and man, that was hilarious. Everything was exaggerated in the video. Our first meeting was somewhere in Bora Bora, an awesome island in the Leeward group of islands surrounded by the Pacific Ocean.

St. Regis Resort was one of the best ---- B E S T ---- resort ever created. It is the complete epitome of elegance and standards. The fine white sand felt like silk against your skin and the clear blue water soothingly calm your thoughts. I tell you, it is one hell of an empire built in the middle of the ocean.

So, I was at the beach with some friends and he was with his. Night came and the party started and well, parties will always be parties. So our group of friends joined in one table and that's what happened. Nothing much to tell, I think. After that, we bump into each other in New York. Yeah, I know, quite cliche but stuff happens and we started dating.

Five happy years with him and I'm still not bored with what we have. He never failed to amaze me with just a simple touch.

"Okay! So, don't peak yet! I'm almost done." I can hear the glint of playfulness in his voice but there's something quite odd about it. He still sounded enthusiastic and definitely eager to show me this surprise but there's a nervous tone I noted, even if he tried to hide it.

"Everything alright?" I asked.

"Yep! All is well." He answered too soon which made me more curious as to why he is acting so strange. My brows creased and my hands were itching to remove this blindfold.

"Your taking like forever, you know that?" My voice rise a note higher but not in a shouting way, more like in a hurry-up-cause-I'm-getting-annoyed-here way. Not really, its just getting to my nerves that it's taking too long and that Paul is acting strange and I'm feeling worried and ----- yeah, that. I don't like being left clueless.

"Okay, done!" I felt him grab my hands when I started to peel off the blindfold and led me towards somewhere. "Don't get too excited stripes."

"I'm not idiot!" I joked. When his calling me stripes, I call him an idiot. That never failed to make me smile. "And can you please like slow down, I can't see a thing here."

"Oh, sorry. A couple more steps ------- and stop!"

"Okay okay, no need to shout!" I laugh at how excited he sounded. "So can I take off this blindfold now?"

"When you hear the music, you can remove the blindfold." He let go of my hands and I immediately tried to remove the blindfold. I heard him laugh beside me. "I said, when you hear the music stripes."

"Arrgg! Okay, fine! Let the music play now idiot!" This surprise is killing me!

I heard a light melody of a violin or was it a lead guitar part but anyway, I immediately pulled the hanky and opened my eyes.

OH MY GOD! I think my jaw just literally dropped to the ground as I scanned the place. We were in a beach, I never did imagine that we are cause I'm walking in a bamboo like bridge that I never felt the sand on my feet.
