When we've eaten the bacon, Sal washes the dishes while I watch tv.
The house phone rings so I answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Jenna, is Sal there?"
"Yeah, I'll go get him."
I go into the kitchen and hold the phone out to him.
"It's your sister."
He dries his hands and takes it.
I go back into the lounge to give them some privacy.
About 5 minutes later, he walks in and says
"Jenna's busy so she's wondering if we can look after Maddie and Isabella."
"No, yeah that's fine."
He smiles, says bye to her and puts the phone back on its charger.
"We better get ready, they'll be here in about 20 minutes."
I get off the sofa and Sal picks me up from behind and spins me round.
"Sal!" I scream and laugh at the same time.
He puts me down and holds my waist
"There's that smile I've missed."
I roll my eyes playfully and tiptoe to kiss him.
