Chapter 8

Nydia try to find her way back home from school. However she was so deep in thought that she end up walking around the grass field in the school. She thought the schools playground was the park and end up sitting on a bench nearby a tree. While she stare into space she thinks out loud with mumbles like a bee, 'not possible, why would everyone include Mell say that? Not possible.' She picked up her pace mumbling to herself, 'can't be, he is such and kid. And he is annoying. He keeps annoying me.' She paused for a moment, something clicked into her brain and she continued to think aloud, 'wait... he is the only guy that ever come close to me.' She started to smile when she thought about how Jerry does not give up on talking to her. Her little Jerry fantasy world filled with paradise. *rustle rustle* Nydia swing her head towards the rustle sound, who is it? Did someone ear drop on her thinking out loud? If so, it will be a huge disaster! When she look clear fully a little rabbit came out of the bush behind the bench. Nydia sign in relieve. She went back to her thoughts on Jerry, suddenly she spring up from the bench and yelled, "NO! I AM NOT IN LOVE! I don't accept it!" she stormed off trying to find the exit for the 'park'. After she walked off the grass field she was shocked to notice that she was still on school grounds. Once she knew she was not in the park she picked up her pace to get out of the school. When she turned around a corner of the school building she saw a bunch on girls near the school gates. What is the commotion? Nydia not interested so she aim for the school gates. However... as soon as she saw Jerry in the crowd she jumps back to the corner of the school building to hide herself. Why is Jerry still at school? Nydia is not amused of that fact that he is surrounded by girls, but this is a bit over. The amount of girls surrounding him is like fan girls ganging onto a famous handsome idol. Nydia start to wonder what they were talking about so she opens her ears to hear what they were saying, but she was a bit too far so the words coming out from them became mumbling noises. She decided to blend into the crowd to hear their conversation better and see the situation Jerry is in at a better angle. Stealth into the crowd, she starts to hear their conversation better. One girl ask Jerry, "Jerry, please take us to your pastry shop, we would love to eat there!"

Jerry smile and said, "The pastry shop is easy to find, so excuse me. I have something to do."

Other girl spoke up, "Aww, come on Jerry. I thought you work at the pastry shop."

Jerry replied, "Nah, I don't need too. I am free as a bird from the shop."

The first girl spoke up, "I try to find it but I can't find it at all. So please guide us."

Jerry looks away from the girl and his eyes headed towards Nydia's direction. Nydia jumped back and hit a bin behind her creating a little *bang!*. Jerry noticed Nydia and he smiled at her, at this moment in time, Nydia is so embarrassed that she could die. When she was about to make a run to run away from the embarrassment, a girl grab on to Jerry and pull him out of the school grounds. When Nydia noticed that the girl is touching Jerry, her emotion did a 360 turn. She was in flames! She cannot control herself; she bolted towards the two of them like a bolt of lightning, breaking the bond between Jerry and the girl. The link broke. Nydia sign in relieve to know that no one is touching Jerry. However.... When her conscience came back, she realised that she is in the middle of a crowd. Everyone looked at her in shock and surprised. Everyone open their month widely open as if their jaws can touch the ground. Nydia looks around at all the people that are staring at her. She looked at Jerry last. When she looks at Jerry, her face become beet red, she has no idea what do to. they all stood there dead frozen for a while. Until Jerry spoke up and cheerfully said, "Nydia! Why are you here? You came to get me! I am so happy" his bright smile blinded everyone. Apart from Nydia. Nydia face became redder than anyone can imagine, she become too embarrassed that she bolt out of school.

Nydia slumped onto a bench in the park like a jelly, while staring deep into space. She clicked back to conscience and think out loud, "what was that? What was I doing?" Nydia remember what Mell said about her being in love with Jerry. She shook her head and raise her voice a little, "No! That can't be! I am not in lov...." She pause for a while as she thought what she did back then. And continued her thinking out loud and said, "Is that jealously?.......... oh! So I am really in love with him! No No! that was embarrassing! No! Now he will hate me for sure from what I did!"
