"Bohot yaad aati hai Ruhaan ki. Ek din sirf uske saath khelne ke liye aaungi." Rabya said with a wide grin.
"Bilkul bacche. Tumhara hi tou ghar hai."

"Jitne meri cab aa rahi hai, mai zara Zishan se notes le aati hu agle exam ke." Rabya suggested.

Zishan and Rabya both pursued the same MBA course from the same university. It was just that Zishan was a year ahead of Rabya.
Zishan was set to work for his father's company so doing MBA was something he had always considered and wanted to.
While Rabya more likely didn't have any choice so she took the whole benefit of Zishan in this whether it was projects, assignments or notes.
She didn't believe in reading such fat textbooks.

"Haa bilkul lekar aao. Kuch fayda tou hona chahiye senior se jaan pehchaan ka."

Quickly, Rabya ran towards the staircase and made her way up towards Zishan's room.
She knocked twice and when she heard the faint ajao, she opened the door and entered.

"Zishan—"

Her words stopped in between when she took in the sight before her.
His bag was carelessly thrown on the bed, he was sitting on the bean bag in front of the TV that was connected with Ps5, and he was in the same situation and clothes as before.

Black hoodie blue jeans and that red swell on his face.

A bottle of disinfectant and cotton was laid on the bed and it looked like it was a fail attempt of his to do something.

"I thought tum chali gayi hogi." Zishan voiced out as he aggressively used the remote control.

"Bas ja hi rahi thi usse pehle socha tumse notes le jau. Varna tumhe hi aana padta dene." Rabya sassed as she sat on the bed with a thud.

"In your dreams Rabi." Zishan shook his head.

"Or more like reality since you came the last 4 times." Saying this, she flashed him a wide grin.

Zishan groaned and went back to focus on the game.
"Where is it?" Rabya asked.

"You know where." He answered.

Rabya made her way to the small and comfortable walk in closet where all the storage space is.
She opened the cupboard where she knew he kept his study related stuff and a scream left her lips as the massive books fell onto her feet, some even hitting her in the process.

"What just happened?"
A frantic Zishan came to the small closet. It could fit two people when they're standing normally. Otherwise not.

"You happened. Kaise rakhte ho tum apna samaan yaar. You're so messy." She yelled pointing an accusing finger in his direction.

"Mera closet meri marzi. Help me in picking these up now. Game kharab kardia mera." Zishan muttered with a frustrated expression.

As they both bent down to pick up the books, their foreheads smashed due to their position and less space and Zishan let out a painful groan.
His jaw was clenched, knuckles turning white as he was suppressing himself.

"Zishan, chalo pehle antiseptic laga lo. And then have some pain killer. Aisey sahi nahi hoge tum." Rabya said with a known nod.

Zishan was about to deny but Rabya pulled him back into the room and made him sit on the bed.
She pulled out the cotton from the bed and dipped in some antiseptic.
And then she began placing it on Zishan's face.

"Owww!" Zishan yelped in pain, his eyes clenched shut tightly.

"Waisey tou bade hero bante ho college me. Asliyat sirf hum hi jaante." Rabya smirked as she pressed the cotton despite his protests.

"Tum khao aise punches. Fir mai dekhta hu." He glared at her.

"Mere me dimaag hai isliye iss sab se dur rehti hu." Saying this she shrugged.

"Dimaag hota tou mere notes se nahi padh rahi hoti." Zishan countered back.

In anger, Rabya pressed the cotton aggressively on his cheek that made him feel intense burn.
"Rabi yaar, sorry." He screamed.

Well Zishan and Rabya were like normal cousins.
They weren't too close nor too distant either. Sometimes they teased each other but also knew when to support or respect the other.
They were normal friends who would chat occasionally online, share memes or sit next to each other during family events.

In the last few years they'd particularly met frequently because they both went to the same college.
Everyone knew not to mess with Rabya as she was Zishan's cousin, the college heartthrob.

And everyone knew not to even think about getting closer to her in any sense.
The boys there were too wild for that.

"Ye lo ye pain killer bhi khalo." Rabya pulled out the pain killer from the medicine box on the bed.

"Thanks." He mumbled as he popped the pill in his mouth.

Rabya's eyes then landed on his hand, that was having few blood marks and swelling as well.
A gasp left her mouth at it.

Zishan noticing her reaction tried pulling his hand back but Rabya clenched it in a tight grip.
"Z-Zishan... kya hoga tumhara?" She shook her head as if she was disappointed.

Well Zishan had always been a wild child, naughty since childhood. He would get into random fights, troubles or just liked to trouble the other person for fun.
Everyone knew what his habits were.

"Kuch nahi hai ye Rabi. This is normal. Sab ladko ke haath aise hi hote hai." Zishan muttered.

"Koi tumse shaadi nahi karega agar aise hi chalta raha. Pata hai na Khalu rishta dekh rahe hai. Koi ladki tumhari aisi halat dekh ke shaadi ke liye haan nahi bharegi. College alag baat thi but poori zindagi koi nahi chahega ye sab." Rabya spoke with a frown.

"Mai tumhe likh ke de raha hu, jitna imperfect mai hu, utni hi perfect biwi hogi meri. Agar mere haath itne rough hai then dekhna, uske sabse mulayam honge. And she will accept me." A smirk was on Zishan's face as he spoke this.

"Tum-"

Before Rabya could speak, the loud honking of a car made her stop.
Her cab must've arrived.

She gave one last look to Zishan before walking towards the bedroom door.

"Arrey apne notes tou le jao. Mai sach me nahi aaunga iss baari dene."
His words made Rabya stop dead in her tracks.

She gave him a look, rolled her eyes and then quickly picked up the notes that were fallen amongst the rest of the books on the closet floor and ran out of his bedroom.

Zishan just shook his head lightly at the shut bedroom door.
