The room was anything but luxury, it was cramped and small. But he was right, compared to everything else it's private and better than most other things. It was just me, him, and his squad. "Hello commander," said #555.

"Ah, hello #555 and... you weren't with us when we got here, why?" There squad leader pointed at me.

I looked away surprised for a moment but #555 came to my rescue, "he asked if it was fine if he rescued our friends that were trapped and I told him it was."

Yellow speaker man looked surprised, "I see, thank you Astro or Simp.. whichever you prefer, I'm guessing that they're on their way back right now. I should probably wait for them."

He got up but just before he left, "wait!"

It came from the Polka-Dot speakerman, "I'll wait with you commander."

The Yellow speakerman thought about it, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a buddy to wait with."

They both left the room leaving me and #555, 'I feel like Polka-Dot left because of me.'

"You'd probably be right," #555 sat down on his bed and I sat down directly across from him on someone else's bed.

Neither of us said anything expecting the other to speak, finally #555 spoke up. "What do you know?"

I had to think about it for a minute, 'Well I was arrested when we were still fighting the Skibidi Toilets and my first encounter with them was with the Duchess before she had her human form. After that encounter I was offline for an unknown amount of time.'

#555 nodded, "so you don't know anything?"

'Yeah,' I confirmed.

He rubbed the back of his head, "well to summarize, us and the Skibidi Toilets realized that we couldn't afford to fight each other and the Astro's so we settled on a temporary truce. This was actually done shortly after your arrest."

I nodded, 'and the Skibidi Toilets with legs, when did that happen?'

"Beats me, my team is a more advanced unit so we don't hear much information other than what's relevant to the mission." He said disappointingly.

I scoffed internally, I spent all this time fighting this enemy and now we're teaming up with them. Does the Alliance not care about they did and what they've done, who knows how many lives were taken during the infection period alone!

I looked at #555, 'how can you be okay with that?'

"Okay with what?" He questioned.

'Okay working with people that experimented on you and saw you as nothing more than a tool!' I was starting to get angry.

His hands which were rested on his knees twitched a little, "I'm not truth be told, but at least we had a chance at winning when we were fighting the Toilets. Now, even with Skibidi Toilet help, victory still feels impossible."

I was angry, I was so angry. 'What do you mean impossible, we have hundreds of members and the best technology we've ever had!'

"Hundreds? Astro at best we have a few dozen and that's being generous." His tone was somber.

I was shocked, 'No we have hundreds, and that's just at this base alone!'

#555 slouched a little bit, "Astro when's that last time you got a new lens, we are far from hundreds and as for the technology. The best thing we got is powered lights."

I was shocked, but I guess I hadn't gotten a new lease since my head was submerged in the... I'm not even going to think about that. Was the situation really this dire, was there truly no hope?
