The room went silent for a split second—then erupted into a mix of laughter, squeals, and wide-eyed gasps.
Chaeyoung dropped onto the nearest chair, jaw practically hitting the floor. "I'm still shocked, but I'll do everything for that little guy! He deserves this, no questions asked!"
Momo bounced in place, eyes sparkling. "I can't... I literally can't handle how clever and insane this is. Thank you for trusting us, guys. We won't let you down!"
Jisoo, trying to compose herself, muttered, "This is... the most epic, chaotic, and heartfelt request I've ever received. I can't even process it!"
Suzy leaned forward, practically vibrating with excitement. "You actually want us to be your co-conspirators? I'm honored, but also—how did you even think we'd survive this without hyperventilating?!"
Seulgi laughed, clutching her cheeks. "I don't even know how to react! But yes! Of course we'll help. You're literally trusting the right people!"
Jennie smiled, a soft warmth in her eyes. "And there's more... we decided to get married immediately. Because... I can't imagine marrying anyone else but Lisa. So why wait? And also, to protect Lucas. We didn't want to leave him vulnerable in the eyes of the public."
The squads collectively groaned in a mix of awe, mock frustration, and laughter.
Irene threw her hands up. "You two—you just go and do everything perfectly chaotic! I swear, you're impossible but also... so right."
Nayeon laughed, covering her mouth. "I mean... I knew you two were something special, but wow... shotgun wedding and secret PR story? I feel like I'm in a drama! I'm waiting for the plot twist!"
Chaeyoung jumped up, pacing slightly. "Do we get spy gadgets too? I feel like we're about to go undercover. Operation 'Protect the Married Couple' is officially in motion!"
Momo flopped onto the couch, groaning dramatically. "I can't... I can't stop laughing. You're insane but brilliant. Lucas is already stealing every scene, and now we're officially part of this madness? I'm honored and terrified!"
Lisa laughed softly, brushing a stray hair from her forehead. "We only told you because you're the only ones we trust to help us keep this... believable. You're the only ones we know won't leak anything or make things worse."
Suzy squealed, bouncing slightly. "And we get to see everything unfold firsthand! You're insane, but I'm obsessed! I feel like I'm part of history!"
Jennie leaned against Lisa, grinning. "Thank you, all of you. We wouldn't have anyone else we could trust with this. You're our family in every sense."
Lisa wrapped an arm around Jennie's shoulder, pulling her close. "Exactly. You guys are family. And now... officially, our co-conspirators."
Lucas jumped between them, hugging both. "Can we eat cake now?"
Everyone burst into laughter, the tension melting. Momo grabbed a plate, pretending to balance herself like a waiter, while Chaeyoung mock-saluted Lisa and Jennie like secret agents on a mission. Seulgi pretended to whisper into an invisible walkie-talkie, reporting back, "The bride and groom are intact and adorable, over."
Irene shook her head, laughing. "I can't believe this. I feel like we're in a rom-com with explosions of chaos. But I love it. I love you guys."
Nayeon leaned back, eyes twinkling. "Honestly... this is going to be legendary. I'll never stop telling this story. You two and Lucas... perfect trio."
Lisa laughed, hugging Jennie tightly. "Exactly. And now... we get to relax a little, eat cake, and enjoy having all of you here. You're the only people who know, and that makes it all perfect."
