19. DON'T LEAVE ME

"So?" Five asked and Diego pulled out the file, showing it to them. Five was about to take the file but Diego leaned it away from him "You're welcome" he said.

Allison took the file before she started flipping the pages trying to find something you could used.

"Hold up" you walked over to Allison "If we want a picture of the guy, it should be..." you counted the pages, flipping them through "There" you stopped at the page where there was a mugshot of the guy.

"Holy shit" Allison asked as she saw a picture of Harold Jenkins. "What?" Diego asked "Harold Jenkins is Leonard Peabody. Vanya's new boyfriend" she said as she turned the file around so Diego and Five could see the picture.

You and the three others arrived at Harold's address.

"Be careful, okay? We don't know what Peabody's capable of" Allison said as you and the others walked up to Harold's house and you noticed how Five started limping after them.

"You okay?" you asked "Yeah, I just felled and hit myself on the counter. It's nothing" Five lied as he tried not to limp.

"Yeah, he didn't seem dangerous when I first saw him. Looked kinda scrawny" Diego said "Yeah, well, so are most serial killers and mass murderers" Allison said before she turned to you and Five "I mean look at them" she said "Thanks" you and Five said, taking it as a compliment.

"Good point. So what's this guy want with Vanya?" Diego asked "I don't know. How about we ask him after we kill him?" Five asked as the four of you walked up the steps to the porch "I hope he didn't hurt her" you said.

"Whoa, whoa. Hey, look, I'm gonna burst through---" Diego said but stopped himself when you noticed that Allison was no longer behind them.

"Where Allison?" he asked "I think she went around back, through a opened window" you said.

"You know what? It would be nice for people just to stick to---" but Diego didn't reach to finish the sentence as Five blinked away.

"The plan" Diego finished "They can't hear you, Diego" you said "Great" Diego said before he turned to the door "Okay, I can get it open" you said but then Diego then took a step back "Diego, wait, what are you doing?" you asked as Diego ran towards the door "Don't" you said but Diego jumped through the window in the door causing glass to shattered as he landed on the floor with a grunt.

"Subtle" Allison said as her and Five walked over to him "Nice work, Knife-Boy" you said before you grabbed the doorknob and opened the door "You know the door was unlock" you said as you entered the house.

"Yeah, well, my way works just fine" Diego said as he got up "Clearly Batman" you said sarcastically "Shut it Y/n" Diego said before he brushed some shards of glass away from his clothes "Spread out. Yell if you, uh...you know, you're in trouble" he said as he walked away to search the house.

"Ah, inspiring leadership" Five said sarcastically "One of the greats" Allison added.

You and the others separated inside the house to find anything that could be useful into finding out what this guy's plan was.

"Guys, you need to see this" Allison called out from upstairs and you all ran upstairs to see what she have found.

You climbed up the ladder to the attic.

As soon as you were up, you looked around the room.

"What the hell" you said as you saw the Umbrella Academy pictures and posters with their eyes scratched out and the action figures faces' was burnt off.

Pictures of them but their eyes was scratch out. Newspapers and articles about them with blood drawn down from their neck was hanging on the wall.

The action figure that was standing on the shelves and tables, their faces' was burnt off.
