This prologue is not really for the characters as such but its an introduction to me I guess and the reason why this story is the way it is, why it means so much and also a bit of a warning if you are reading it as well.

I was very active on Wattpad years ago when I was in highschool so you can imagine, my writing was very cringe but I was so proud of it. I loved the community and I loved how we could work together and write things and share them and have people read it and give feedback. Obviously life hit, especially during my late years of high school to now I've been very busy and I guess writing did take a back seat. I also went through this period of self hatred where nothing I did was good enough from my music because I write music, to my writing so I didn't bother to create. Recently I began writing lyrics again and I noticed, how poetic I was getting and it was coming naturally. I thought in my head that if I am writing lyrics like this maybe I can think about writing again but it had to be the right story. I love what Michael Jackson said about not forcing your art to happen and it's so true because if I forced the following story I don't think it would've been as good as it is, because I genuinely waited for this story to come to me. This story is ten years in the making which is wild! But ten years ago when I wrote it I was a teenager so now I'm older, I guess the justice I could give to the story and I did is greater.

Lezibel is a story that can be taken as a commentary on society and how we view public figures. We think they are so perfect but we don't know the skeletons they hide in their closets. It's a story on love whether it be romantically, between a mother and daughter and also just people in our lives ranging from our friends to even our elders that guide us along the way.

You may have noticed the warning of the mature content in the blurb and I just want to say, if you are younger just be ware I am not just doing violence in this or mature scenes it is simply the direction the story made me go, so if it is too graphic in any areas, then it's perfectly fine to skip ahead because I also made chapters where you can read between the lines of certain things so, you can still read the story without having to deal with those parts, however it is my warning that there are areas of the story that run deeper than you may expect.

I really hope you love this story and let it really set with you, I hope it's gripping and I hope you can see the story beneath the surface that may appear when you first start reading it.
