29: Heart Attack

Jay's POV:

Shawn kept briefing about my medical history to doctors as they came in for check ups. I don't know why am I getting this princess treatment, when I never really got it to start with.

I was just eight when Dad sent me to hostel because he didn't like me, the only reason was that it was after my birth that mom contracted cancer aberrations. I guess that's the only reason Aries hates me too.

Sometimes I am scared what if I am just really a bad luck to everyone around me? Nothing really good happens in people who have me in their life be it be mom, sam , shawn or now as I see Kiefer and his mom.

I was thinking when Shawn hit my head hard, " What are you thinking with your empty brain Jax?"

Kiefer threw his hand away from my head and Aries and Percy pushed him behind to seek my answer, followed by a death full glare by Yuri.

Why are they collectively attacking Shawn?

" I think Kiefer you should go, Mom's not well" I said hesitantly

" Actually all of you should go, its nothing special... I am fine" I kept adding in case they thought this was new to me.

" I won't and yess its not special because its dangerous" kiefer rushed his  fingers  through his hairs instinctively and , " Asthmatic attacks can cause life too.. are you mad not keep around your inhaler?." He said with his eyes almost blank.

What happened to him now?

" Well I would have appreciated that , death was a likelihood for a long time" I replied in reminiscence of the horrors I have lived.

" Jax relax! You know I am stuck around you forever remember we promised each other?" Shawn remarked playfully

" Stop mispronouncing her name, do you get that?" Yuri spoke with his usual smile to him.

While Aries grabbed his collar, and Kiefer bulged upon him, " What promise?"

" What? Baby sistah this not good.. marrying baby kief and promising him"

Are they even in their senses? Seriously I am having difficulty in even talking here and they are apt on opening my relationship secrets with my friends?

" Argh, Nice to meet you Mr Monchaleon, scarlet macaw, thick browed monkey and button eyes " Shawn winked, stiffening his shirt and leaving others in confusion while I just avoided their gaze.

I pinched him and glared not to but he just squeezed my cheeks and said, " its oky mom"

" And anyways only I can call her Jax.. it was an invention by me jay+ relax is Jax" He laughed out on his own stupid joke.

" No! You can not when I say no"

Wait a second, All of them are of almost similar heights.

I closed my eyes to see those bullies in front of me

He is laughing now but if he keeps on doing this these four people standing here will crush his life out. But what is their problem with him.. He is just trying to chill out the mood .

Maybe they are jealous that I have my best friend but they don't . Yeah that's it.

I could see a dark monster enlightening behind Shawn; Kiefer was hell scary like this. I swear.

All I could do was force my lungs to grasp chilled air and my voice box escaping a sound timidly, " I want to go home"

And without waiting for anything else, Kiefer carried me in his arms, in bridal style as they had already removed my drip.
