The night passed with her shifting around in bed, changing positions, trying to find a more comfortable one.

As soon as she closed her eyes, the sight of the innocent man begin killed by three mafias, with blood everywhere, flashed before her eyes. The sight was so terrifying that it was forever etched in her mind.

*****

The alarm clock rings up loudly, distrubing her pretty sleep. She just got a nice sleep and it's already morning. A groaned escaped her mouth as she stop the alarm.

Y/n:"This will never let me sleep."

She glared at the alarm clock, blaming it for disturbing her beauty slumber.

She got up straight on the bed, streching her arms above her head. She yawn as she looked around her room.

She just moved into her new apartment of two days ago, and there are still packed boxes that she need to unpacked and set them in the apartment.

She set her feet on the floor, standing up. She sighed, looking at the mess around her apartment.

Y/n:"I have to unpacked those boxes after coming from University."

She muttered to herself as she looked around the mess in her apartment.

Her small room was a haven of simplicity and comfort. A single bed sat beside the window, where sunlight streamed in during the day and moonlight cast a gentle glow at night. In the corner, a compact wardrobe stood quietly, its doors adorned with a few colorful stickers. Against one wall, a sturdy bookshelf held a collection of well-worn books, with a small study table tucked beneath it. The table was cluttered with papers, pens, and an open notebook, evidence of late-night study sessions and creative pursuits. The room was cozy and functional, a perfect retreat for a bookworm.

Though, there were still some boxes which was filled with novels that she had to place in the book shelf.

She walk towards the washroom to take a bath to freshen up herself from last night incident. It was still stuck in her mind.

After taking a bath, she came out wearing a dark navy blue blazer, a white collared shirt, a striped tie, and a plaid pleated skirt. The overall style was reminiscent of a school uniform, but with a more fashionable and modern twist. The blazer was fitted and has gold buttons, and the skirt was relatively short. A small gold brooch is visible on the blazer's lapel.

She begins to dry her long black hair. She decided to let them be open, in loose waves and parted in the middle. With bangs that are cut in a straight line across the forehead.

After when she was done dressing up, she walked out of her room with her backpack on her right shoulder. She glanced at the kitchen, already thinking about skipping her breakfast. One of her habits was always skipping breakfast.

She grabbed her apartment keys and exit the apartment.

*****

After taking a bus ride to her university, she stepped out of the bus onto the pavement. The earpieces were plugged into her ears, with songs playing in the background.

After a 10-minute walk, she reached the University, the crisp morning breeze hitting her face, making her feel fresh and happy.

Y/n's face lit up when she saw a familiar figure in the distance, talking to someone and laughing.

Her blonde hair danced in the air as her pale face glowed under the sun. Her pink lips curled upwards as she smiled.

She pulled out her earpiece, putting them back into its respective place.

Y/n:"Park Rosé!"

She called out for her bestfriend, Park Rosé, with a wide grin. Rosé and Y/n have been friends since the first year, and now, the whole university is well-known about their epic duo.

Well, Rosé was the social butterfly, always nice and friendly with every single person in the university. And not to mention, she received 10 love letters every week.

Rosé:"Y/n!"

The blonde turned to her only bestfriend in the whole university despite begin so popular among all.

Rosé hugged Y/n as she stand in front of her, making Y/n chuckled.

Y/n:"Missed me already?"

Rosé:"Yeah, a lot."

Y/n raised an eyebrow at her as both of them walked inside the university together, hands in hands.

Y/n:"Is that so? But I guess, we just met yesterday."

Rosé:"Yesterday is yesterday, and even a few hours and minutes can feel like an eternity. So, I missed you."

Y/n raised an eyebrow in amusement, at her words.

Y/n:"Where did you learnt to say those cheesy lines?"

Rosé nudged her to the side, smirking at her.

Rosé:"Lines like this just came out of my mouth, after seeing such a beautiful girl beside me."

Y/n made a mock disgusted face at her, stepping away from her a bit.

Y/n:"Eww, you're getting flirtatious day by day, Rosé."

Rosé laughed and then winked at her.

Rosé:"What can I do? You're getting more beautiful every day, which is why I said what I said. Not my fault, though!"

Y/n shaked her head in disbelief, but there was a small smiled on her face.

Y/n:"You're crazy."

She said, opening the door to their classroom. However, there was no heat in her tone, instead there was fondness in it.

The two of them walked towards their seat which was just beside the window. Y/n took the corner seat, right beside the window as Rosé sit beside her, a mischievous smile on her face.

Rosé:"Accept it or not, you do like my pick up lines, don't you?"

Y/n rolled her eyes playfully as she pulled out her books for the first lecture.

Y/n:"what if I said no?"

Rosé followed her action as she begins to pulled out her books as well.

Rosé:"Even if you say 'no',
Y/n...I can see through you."

Y/n:"Jeez, you and your flirtatious behaviour."

Y/n commented with an eye rolled, only for Rosé to laugh out aloud.

Rosé:"If you can't hold this flirtatious behaviour of mine, how are you gonna handle your boyfriend then?"

Rosé asked playfully, leaning closer to her. Y/n scoffed as she replied, turning to look at her.

Y/n:"As if  I'm ever gonna have one."

Rosé poke her cheeks as she spoke.

Rosé:"Don't say that, Y/n. Don't you want to have a boyfriend?"

Y/n:"No."

She replied nonchalantly, not having a bit interested in this topic. Rosé sighed as she turn towards the door, watching the English teacher entered in.

Rosé:"You'll have one, I know that."
