A sudden silence fell over Salcor Tower.

Departments shut down. Systems stalled. The company intranet went offline. Phones stopped ringing.

It wasn’t a glitch.

It was sabotage.

---

Inside the executive floor, Tredy and Atty. Vasquez stared at the flashing alert on every screen:

> “Internal Breach Detected. Core System Access Blocked.”

Vasquez’s voice was tight. “This wasn’t a hack. It came from inside.”

Tredy didn’t flinch.

> “Velez knew our blind spots. He built some of them.”

He turned to the remaining staff.
“Lock down all access. Remove legacy credentials. Bring IT to the war room. Now.”

---

Across the city, in a private bunker of glass and steel, Matias Velez adjusted his cufflink — the silver snake glittering.

“I taught Emerico how to build this empire,” he muttered. “Now I’ll bury his grandchildren under it.”

Behind him, a wall of monitors showed Salcor’s internal chaos.

But he didn’t know one thing:
The heirs were ready.

---

At the same time, Elarra sat in a quiet room, unbothered by the panic outside.

She opened a small metal box Don Emerico had given her just before he sent her away — a box she never dared to open… until now.

Inside:

A handwritten note

A small flash drive

And a ring — the original Sales family insignia, never worn in public

The note read:

> “They will try to erase you. Let them try. This ring makes you not just heir by blood… but by right. And the drive?
Let’s just say… it’s your final proof if they ever doubt who built the empire.”

Elarra stared at the ring.
It had once been worn only by Don Emerico… and his father before him.

---

Back at Salcor, the emergency board meeting had begun.

Half the members were panicked. The other half were whispering rumors:

> “Maybe Velez had a point.”
“The heirs aren’t ready.”
“We should consider dissolving the current leadership.”

Tredy entered the boardroom, eyes sharp.

“No more whispers,” he said. “If anyone doubts me or my sister, say it now — while you still have your seat.”

One board member stood — Mr. Dela Fuente.

“I’m sorry, Tredy. But the company’s collapsing. The trust is broken. Maybe it’s time we step aside.”

Tredy nodded slowly.

Then looked to the back of the room.

Elarra entered, calm and regal, wearing the ring — the original Sales family crest glinting in the light.

Gasps echoed around the room.

Then she placed the flash drive on the table.

“Here’s the original ledger,” she said. “Signed, sealed, and timestamped.
Everything Velez did. Every deal he manipulated. Every lie.”

Tredy stepped beside her.

> “You wanted leadership?
Here it is. Blood, blade, and truth.”

The room went silent.

Then, slowly — one by one — the board members stood.

No more whispers.
Only loyalty.

---

That night, Matias watched the emergency broadcast.

Elarra and Tredy stood side by side on the Salcor balcony, addressing the public.

> “This empire wasn’t given to us,” Tredy said. “It was buried beneath lies. We dug it out.”

> “We’re not just heirs,” Elarra said. “We are the next chapter.”

Matias clenched his glass until it cracked.

But his shadow had begun to fade.
