                                                                          Roy's POV

I groaned as I threw my covers off myself, and I checked my alarm clock for it to read one o'clock in the morning. I got up because I was too wired to sleep, so I went out on the wing deck for some fresh air, leaving Fuecoco on my bed to sleep some more.

I wandered out to the wing deck and stared at the nearby shore, feeling an eerie sense of Deja Vu of the night Liko ran away. I wonder if Liko saw something like this back in Galar before she ran away, and I wonder if she is watching the ocean like I am, just in another part of the world or somewhere here in Kanto. I thought as I rested my chin on my arms on top of the railing, watching the moon on the ocean's surface.

"Roy?" I heard some say behind me, and I jumped a bit, nearly falling over the side of the railing and onto the lower part of the deck.

"Roy, relax, it's me, Dot!" Dot shouted, and I breathed a sigh of relief before I turned to smile sheepishly at her, a bit embarrassed at my overreaction.

"What are you even doing awake?" Dot asked as she put her hands on her hips, and I sighed just a bit and rubbed the back of my neck.

"Sorry, I've just got a lot of energy and couldn't sleep," I said, and Dot nodded along as she came to stand next to me.

"I get it... You know what, let's head to the bridge, the view is just as good without the ability to fall and get a concussion." Dot said as she shook her head, and I just laughed before following her to the Bridge.

"Why is Friede still here?" I whispered when the elevator stopped at the bridge, and Dot just shrugged. She slowly made her way over to the captain's chair, where Friede was passed out, halfway slumped onto the floor, with Cap on the back of the chair. also deeply asleep.

"I guess he worked too hard and just crashed... Like everyone else has tonight, Uncle Murdock almost fell asleep standing up when he was doing the dishes." Dot said with a sad sigh, and I nodded my head because it made sense. Since we lost Liko back in Mossdeep, everyone had hardly gone to sleep, and sooner or later, they were going to need sleep...

"We should probably move him," Dot said as she tucked her hand under her chin like she was considering something.

"Why?" I asked as I walked to the other side of the chair opposite to Dot without even causing Friede to stir.

"Because it's bad for-" Dot said, but she was cut off by Friede's Rotom phone floating off the console and ringing...

"Ring!" No move from Friede, so I took a step closer.

"Ring!" Friede stirred just a bit, but I still moved closer to the phone despite Dot telling me not to.

"Ring!" Friede moved again, and Dot tried to remind me this could be a trap, but just as the phone rang for the final time, I grabbed it and accepted the call.

"Hello?" I asked as I accepted the call, but there wasn't an immediate answer, so it gave me the chance to put the call on speaker and for Dot to stand by me, listening to the other person breathe for a moment.

" I'm staying at the Hano Grand Resort in room 1709 in the Alola region on Akala island...I...I need you guys." The other person said, and my heart stopped for just a moment when I realized it was Liko...

"Liko, are you ok?!" Dot shouted

"Liko what's going on?!" I asked as I clutched the phone in a death grip, but instead of an answer or even a goodbye, the phone cut off. I tried to call back, but it didn't even ring. Dot took the phone and tried again as I stood there feeling numb with shock....
