[ CHAPTER TWENTY—SEVEN
━━━━ WARNING(S): VIOLENCE  ]

FOUR WEEKS HAVE PASSED SINCE WHAT HAPPENED IN ASAKUSA,

and in those four weeks, Y/N has been distancing herself a lot. Why? A girl needs her alone time from time to time. Although, she still hasn't talked to Sanemi, even though it has been a month now. She's not quite.. ready to face him after what happened last time. And it's not her fault she's been so busy with missions recently either. She barely got any sleep! Honestly, it was annoying since she lived sleeping so much but it was also productive for herself. She got to work more on her skills and also pay attention to herself.

She recently learned that she can kind of copy the Mist Hashira, Tokito Muichiro, Fifth Form: Sea of Clouds and Haze while also using her Third Form: Ecliptic Dragon. While she charges at her opponent at blistering speed in a zig-zag motion whilst performing a barrage of continuous slashes in front and/or around herself while her constantly shifting black and purple dragon attacks around her-practically assisting her.

Though it did take her time to perfect it, she finally got it after the sixth try.

And when she used it on a demon on one of her missions?

You wouldn't believe the grin on her face.

She called her updated form Total Concentration: Eclipse Breathing, Third Form: Vanish of the Solar Dragon.

But, it doesn't only just attack her opponents, the dragon also destroys everything in her way. But it only works if she's concentrating deep enough.

Currently, Y/N was battling yet another demon in her way.

Nightfall had came quick, the sun didn't waste any time lowering, and Y/N just wanted to go back home, and fall asleep in her comfortable, super soft futon.

But, nooo; she can't have everything.

She growled, flying back as the harsh wind pushed against her body. The demon had just kicked her aside──she of course tried to block the attack with her sword but due to the fact she demon was unusually large and had muscle, that didn't work out too well for her. Her body flew, descending to the ground as she hit the rough surface with a grunt. Her body rolled around like a ragdoll being trashed away. When she came to a halt, her body tensed up, and ached.

She could hear the demon cackling from the distance, yapping about some that her ears were listening too.

She huffed heavily, her eyes half-lidded as she slowly turned her head, her eyes drifting up to the sky above her. There were no clouds, no stars twinkling beautifully-just the moon, half full, staring down at her. She stared up at it quietly, her expression a mix of tired and almost boredom.
