This book is not one I ever saw myself writing. Love triangles were never my thing, but somehow the story just came to me that way. Not your typical love triangle, mind you, since one of them is oblivious, but the story does start with an MC who is crushing on someone who is not the other MC.
It's a bit messy in the beginning, but stick with me here. I swear it's only in the first half.
Possible triggers for some people include:
x An MC who uses the word 'retard' (only about himself, though)
x A parental figure using words like 'retard' when referring to another character
x Gender Dysmorphia in a recurring side character
x Self-harm involving an MC (no blood, unless you count chewing his lip until it bleeds)
x An MC (1) having sex with the other MC (2) while under the belief MC2 was someone else
