Ali: "But it doesn't look like nothing, Ihsan."
Ihsan (with a composed yet distant tone): "As I've already told you, Ali, there's nothing to talk about."
Ali (raising an eyebrow): "Then explain the trembling hands and that sudden stutter. You never fumble like that... unless something or someone is messing with your heartbeat."
Ihsan looked away, choosing silence over response.
Ali (sighing knowingly): "It's alright. Even if you don't want to say it, I already understand."
Ihsan (defensive): "What do you mean you understand?"
Ali: "It means... I know what stirred you."
Ihsan (trying to act confused): "And what exactly do you think you know?"
Ali (leaning in with a teasing smile): "Seems like... you saw Ameera."
Ihsan (sputtering): "Ameera?"
Ali's eyes widened as he caught the slip in Ihsan's voice.
Ihsan (playing dumb): "What are you trying to imply?"
Ali: "Huh? Allahu Akbar! Your acting skills are worse than I thought! You're so caught up in this, you don't even realize how obvious it is."
Ihsan (sighing deeply): "Just drop it, Ali."
Ali (softly, but sincerely): "Talk to me."
Ihsan (quietly): "Fine. When I went to call Aleena, I caught a glimpse of her... Ameera. She was reciting the Qur'an with so much serenity, so much focus... It just-did something to me. My throat tightened, my hands were shaking. I've never felt that kind of stillness and storm inside me at the same time. It was... overwhelming."
Ali (gently): "Subhanallah... Don't let it worry you, ya akhi. In shaa Allah, Allah will ease what weighs on your heart. He brings clarity to every confusion, light to every darkness."
Ihsan (softly): "Aameen."
Then, as if pulling a veil over his emotions, Ihsan straightened up.
Ihsan: "Alright, enough. Amir is coming-don't say anything else."
Amir (approaching with a curious look): "Hmm, what were you two whispering about?"
Ihsan (casually): "Oh, nothing important. Just about you."
Ali (grinning): "Yeah, like how you're planning to join our madrassa and steal our ustadh's attention."
Amir (smiling wide): "Absolutely! I'm serious about it."
Ihsan: "That's exactly what we meant."
Ali: "Then what are we waiting for? Let's get inside!"
Amir: "Lead the way, brothers."
Ali, Ihsan, and Amir walked together toward Ismail.
Ismail glanced at them briefly. "Wait a moment, I'll come back."
Ihsan smiled politely. "Take your time, Ustadh. No problem for us - we will wait for you."
Ismail nodded once, then disappeared through a side door.
Ali turned toward Amir. His tone was curious, but carried a trace of seriousness.
Ali: "Amir."
Amir: "Yes!"
Ali: "What do you want?"
Amir blinked in surprise. "Why, bro? I mean... why are you asking this suddenly?"
