Y/N's POV

1 WEEK LATER

"And I win. Again." Aggie said. I was sitting there, I had completely given up on the bowling part of all this. It was fun trying at first, then I got the hang of it, then I started beating Aggie which caused her to get even more competitive. Eventually, I had to just let her win.

"Yeah, you're better at this than I am." I smiled at her.

Aggie shook her head, she rolled her eyes at me. "I know you let me win." She crossed her arms as she sat next to me.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I picked up my lemonade, I took a sip through the straw.

"Right..."

"Now that we're done with bowling." I looked around. "I have something to tell you, well ask...kinda."

"Yeah? What is it?" Aggie turned to face me.

"Were you serious about the euros? About me coming to see you?" I asked her.

"Of course I was serious, I have extra tickets to most of the matches. I wasn't sure if some of my friends from home would come so I got a hold of extra tickets." Aggie said, that solved the ticket situation.

"Good, because I kinda already agreed to go with Naomi and Emily." I told her.

Aggie's face expression change. "So you're coming?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Good." She smiled at me, she nodded her head at me. "That's good to hear, so you'll be staying with Naomi and Emily did you say?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "It was Emily's idea, they weren't sure at first but I managed to convince them." I said.

"So you've convinced them to come and see me?" Aggie moved closer.

"Not just you...I want to watch the whole tournament." I looked away, I couldn't look her in the eye as I lied. It was all for her, I had convinced Naomi to come with me. Emily was just a little plus. I was doing with all for Aggie. "When are you leaving?" I asked her.

"Monday." She said. I nodded and didn't say anything. That was so close. Six days. "We have a friendly against Jamaica before the actual euros start." She said.

"Oh."

July 2nd, 2025.

It was a Wednesday, England's first match was against France. It wasn't gonna be easy, their whole group wasn't gonna be easy. But I was more than happy to support Aggie from the stands. I looked down at my phone, I was staring at the ticket. I looked at the row and seat number.

"We're gonna be late..." I said. Emily, Naomi and I were speed walking to the stadium, it took us forever to get parking. We didn't think it would be this packed, we clearly underestimated the traveling fans.

"We're not. We'll be there on time." Naomi said.

"So you're not gonna be sitting with us?" Emily asked me.
