Leah's POV
SATURDAY
I was outside of Sophia's house, she had sent me her address so I could pick her up. I didn't want to overstep my boundaries and go knock, I didn't want to seem that desperate. I can't say that I haven't thought of where she lived, I had. I had thought of a thousand things...
I had been on my phone, texting the girls telling them that I was on my way. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Sophia walking out of the house. I couldn't take my eyes off her, she was wearing this shirt. It was a short sleeve, it just hugged her body so tightly. I could see her actual figure, I was a fan of the blazers but it was nice to see her like this.
She smiled once she opened the passenger door.
"Hey." She got in and closed the car door.
"Hey, you look...really good." A compliment was needed.
"Thank you, I could say the same about you. I love that shirt color on you." She said, I paused for a moment. She was putting her seatbelt on as I took another good look at her.
"Thank you, it's a new shirt actually. Anyway, you ready?" I asked.
"Ready."

Sophia's POV
"This is it." She said.
We had gotten to the pub that Leah had been speaking of, I followed her towards the entrance. She pulled the door open for me, allowing me to go in first.
"Thank you." I walked in first and had a look around. I didn't really recognize anyone. I didn't even know her teammates well enough to know their faces.
"Come on." Leah said, she took the lead and walked me over to one of the tables in the corner. "Girls. This Sophia." She said, I saw the four girls smiling up at me. Some waved, some just smiled. The good thing is that it wasn't the entire team, only the ones she was closest to. "Sophia this is Beth, Chloe, Alessia, and Viv." She said.
"Hello everyone." I smiled at the girls.
"Here, take a seat." Beth pulled a chair out for me.
"Thank you." I gave her a smile and took a seat. Leah sat down in the chair next to mine.
"Okay, first round is on me." Chloe stood up.
"There's six of us." Alessia reminded her.
I stared at the blond as she walked off towards the bar area, I looked back at Leah. She was now talking to Alessia about something. Beth and Viv seemed to be sitting very close to each other, I'm guessing they were a thing. Usually I didn't feel this comfortable around strangers, but I think them being all girls made me feel less tense. The vibes were good. If I sensed even the smallest amount of negativity, I would be out.
But I didn't, the girls seemed nice.
Just like Leah.
