Intro/Chapter 1: Breaking The Quiet

Intro: Hi this is my first time writing anything like this and my grammar is lowk terrible so bear with me😓😓 I'm on break rn so i've js been writing all day lmao, i don't have anything better to do😒

i've had a couple things in mind that i've wanted to write out. This is a friends to lovers story based on my original characters, Madison and Leon (Leo) but there's also some bl chapters from the side characters. 🥳🥳.

This story will be mostly from Leo's point of view. Sometimes Maddie, it alternates between the characters.

Most of the time I write several chapters throughout a couple days and then post them all at once.

TWWWW!!!!! This story has lots of sensitive topics and smut but also fluff

Ik this sounds so bad so far😭 but this is a rlly dense story and not a one shot. There is heavy smut and mentions of trauma and abuse. Please if anything i've stated is triggering don't continue reading. This story has its sad moments but happy ones too (and spicy ones!!). I hope you enjoy!! Leave me comments for future recs!

The sound of keys jingling echo across the apartment as Maddie hears Jude open the door for his friends. She then hears his voice slice through the air, loud and unapologetic. She ignores him like always and continues watching some more anime on her phone.

She hears Jude say "Let me introduce you guys to Maddie since you keep asking about her" through the living room walls.

All of a sudden she hears Jude walking towards her room, and rolls her eyes, speaking to herself "Ughh, I so don't wanna deal with these guys right now"

Jude knocks on Maddie's door politely and tells her that his friends wanna meet her.

"Hey Mads!" "My friends are here!" Jude calls out.

She sighs then yells out "In a minute!" and changes from her tank top and shorts to something more appropriate, like a comfy pair of sweatpants and a cute tube top.

Maddie walked downstairs and was immediately hit by noise and laughter—and the mess they'd made of the living room. Her living room. A slow irritation crept in, but then again... what could she do?

Jude spotted her immediately and grinned, loud enough to cut through the chatter. "Alright, everyone, this is Maddie. The one you've all been hearing about."

Maddie offered a small, knowing smile but said nothing, letting Jude do the talking.

Cam waved shyly from his chair, cheeks still rosy. "Hey," he said softly.

Maddie responds with a gentle smile, saying hi. "He looks really young" she says in her mind.

Maddie's gaze flicked to Leo, catching the hesitation beneath his quiet. She gave him a soft, almost imperceptible nod—an unspoken hello only he noticed.

Maddie's eyes swept away from Leo and over the chaos scattered across the living room—the empty bottles, crumpled snack bags, and scattered cushions. She shot Jude a sharp look, the kind that said "Really?" without uttering a single word.

Jude caught it instantly. His grin faltered for a moment, and without a word, he bent down, grabbing the nearest empty bottle and tossing it toward the trash. The room grew quieter as he started picking up the mess, the energy shifting with every careful move.
