Invisible String Theory

The invisible string theory suggests that individuals are connected to their soulmates through a metaphorical string. An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break.

Avery Turner is a Queer writer w/ a hit online series, who during Covid figured out she was gay and broke up with her boyfriend. She moves in with Xander, a dorm mate from college, and navigates this new life, including the Queer Dating Scene for the first time.

X is happy to have Avery as a roommate. After transitioning last year, he's been having a hard time living his true Queer life and staying quietly at home. Now that Avery is around to push him outside his comfort zone, he has to face a few things about himself he didn't know he still had to. 

Astrid and Diane live across the passageway of their outdoor patio and are deeply in love with each other. Astrid is a kickboxing instructor from the South, running away from her Homophobic family and finding a home with Diane. While Diane is away at her art studio, Astrid and Avery talk outside, and Avery seems to think Astrid is a bit too flirty....

She loves to gossip about her corporate office job with Avery and her new matches on dating apps. But she's dating in secret, not wanting her strict parents to know until she's found the perfect one, which in today's society is getting real fcking hard.

Ash Rodriguez is a part-time mechanic and student who is introduced to Avery by Xander after they decided they wanted to explore the dating scene. After coming out as Non-Binary, Ash feels that they are ready to step into themselves. Although they begin to get inside their head, showing off with their Mustang and sarcasm can get them into trouble.

Kat Jackson left home the moment she turned 18. She ran away with her boyfriend and never looked back, until it was time to run away from him too. Now after years of abuse, she's back in her hometown to take care of her mother, who is bedridden after suffering a stroke. She tries to find some spiritual comfort or reasons to explain her situation.

Amelia Moon is the main character of Avery's hit online series, a teenage girl with one white eye and one gold eye who can transport anywhere in time and space. Her adventures are full of addicting chaos, which makes for a nice income for Avery.
