I tried lifting the arm but it just made him pull me closer to him, his hold tightening. I groaned. With the strength I could muster up, I was able to turn myself around to face Maddox, or alpha Maddox? William? I like Will, maybe I should just call him that. I mean, in my head at least, right?

I looked at the sleeping guy laying next to me. I was able to fully take in his handsome features. His tan skin looked smooth and soft, even with the slight stubble along his chin. It seemed like something he shaved for the most part. His lips pouted slightly as he slept. Suddenly I felt like a creeper so I let my eyes fall off his face, but then they landed on his chest...his bare chest. Without thinking, my fingers trailed his up his arm, going along his muscles and following down to his chest. My eyes went up to his face making my breath hitch as I saw him looking back at me. I felt my cheeks burn red as I bit my lip. "Sorry." I mumbled. "Um, do you mind?" I asked, looking down at his arm that was still over my side.

He didn't say anything, just lifted his arm.

"Thanks." I muttered as I slid out of the bed. I left his room and looked across the hall. "Seriously?" I muttered as I realized his room was across from mine. I could have sworn his room was somewhere else. Who's room was he in when I first got here?

I shook my head, walking into my room and changing into a pair of black skinny jeans and an oversized mint green knit sweater. Looking in the mirror I realized my hair was a mess, so after putting some converse on my feet I headed to the second floor in hopes of finding Dev's room.

I knocked on one of the doors that seemed to have Dev's sent around it but was sorely mistaken when the door opened. "Can I help you?" A girl scowled.

"Um, sorry. I was looking for Dev."

"Doubt she'd feel like seeing your face this early in the morning. Wouldn't want to ruin her day." The girl smiled in a sickly sweet manner before slamming her door shut.

"Rude much?" I muttered as I moved on, just in time to see Dev walk out of one of the rooms.

"Dev." I sighed in relief.

"Hey, what's up?" She asked as she smiled at me.

"Do you have a brush I can borrow?"

"Yeah." She said as she motioned for me to come into her room. I did and watched as she pulled a brush out of one of her dresser drawers. "This is just an extra one I have so you can just take it."

"You sure?"

"Of course. I'm not using it." She shrugged.

"Thanks." I smiled.

"How's it going with Maddy?" She asked, plopping down on her bed. I leaned against the doorframe.

"It's...not."

She pursed her lips. "That boy's an idiot. He'll explain someday why he's such a douche."

"Not sure if I'll be here long enough to hear it."

"You can't leave your mate." Dev said in a sad tone.

I shrugged. "Well I can't stay here forever."

"Unless you mate, you know, with the guy that was destined to be...your mate."

"At this point, it seems as though I don't really have a mate." I said. "Thanks for the brush." I said before making my way back to my room.

Once my hair was thoroughly brushed through I went back to the second floor to find the twins. Instead of being in their room, I found them with Keaton in his luckily game console stocked room.

"Get him, get him!" Ester shouted.

"Kill the zombies!" Esme yelled.

I groaned. "Really, Keaton?" I asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Not my fault." He said as he continued to kill zombies. I looked over at the girls and noticed they all still had their clothes from yesterday on. "You guys hungry?"

"Yes!" The girls shouted, still staring at the TV.

"Always." Keaton muttered.

I chuckled at the three before going downstairs to make them some breakfast. That is, until I saw that I was beaten to it. "Morning, Amelia."

"Oh, hi dear. Eggs?"

"I'd love some, thanks." She smiled back.

"Some for the kids too?"

"That'd be great."

She nodded, going back to the stove as she whipped up some eggs. As the smell of bacon filled the air I heard several footsteps come down the stairs and into the kitchen. The twins and Keaton sat down at the breakfast table as Amelia and I placed plates of eggs and bacon in front of them.

"Keaton, can you give the girls a bath when you're all done?" I asked, giving him a pleading look.

"Ren." He whined.

"Thanks, bug." I laughed as I ruffled his hair. He grumbled as he fixed it, taking a bit of his hair.

"What the hell is this?!" I heard Maddox...no, Will shout.

I walked out of the kitchen and towards the living room where I saw Will standing at the front door, holding a large box. Two more on the porch. I squealed, taking the box from him and placing it on the floor. I pulled the pocket knife hanging from Will's jeans, using it to open the box. I smiled as I took out the paper, seeing the clothes hidden under it. The first thing I pulled out was a cute long sleeve dress with flower design on the skirt of it. I pulled out the matching one, both for Ester and Esme.

"Where did this come from?" Will asked.

"The store." I answered.

"Don't be smart with me."

I rolled my eyes and shrugged. "Dev took me to get some clothes and we got some for the twins and the guys."

"Who payed for it?" He asked, his eyes squinted.

"You." I smiled, taking the dresses ad going into the kitchen. "Look girls. After your baths you can wear this."

The girls started clapping. "It's so pretty." Esme said.

"Yay!" Ester shouted, in a deep voice. I laughed at the pair.

"Devon!" I heard Will shout and I chuckled.
