Room 3-B felt warmer than usual.
Or maybe it was just them.
The posters on the wall, the open windows letting in the cool breeze, the faint rustling of paper scripts and shifting feet—it was all the same. But the air? Charged. Quietly electric.
Soo-jin sat cross-legged on the floor, reviewing the updated cue cards with a highlighter. Jaeyun sat beside her—not too close, but not far either—pretending to read his script while actually watching her underline words with surgical precision.
"You highlight like you're planning a murder," he muttered.

Yeji, walking past with a clipboard, choked on air.
Jay threw a crumpled tissue at Jaeyun's head. "You're unbelievable."
"I'm consistent," Jaeyun countered.
Soo-jin rolled her eyes. But she didn't look away. And when their knees brushed—just slightly—she didn't move.
Yeji cleared her throat loudly. "Alright, lovebirds, focus. We're adding a mock Q&A segment today, right after your closing lines."
Jay grinned. "Audience can submit anonymous questions for the emcees to answer live. Cute, flirty stuff. We'll screen them, obviously."
Soo-jin raised a brow. "Obviously?"
"Okay, 70% of them," Jay corrected.
"We'll warm up with some fake ones today," Yeji said. "Let's practice being... unrehearsedly charming."
"I am unrehearsedly charming," Jaeyun said.
Soo-jin crossed her arms. "You're unrehearsedly loud."
