Previously in Chapter 4:

Rudra's recollections were being substituted.
He encountered Leela—half human, half uploaded.
She threatened him: your core memory comes next.
He received a strong weapon—a neuro-flash that will delete the virus within him or blow up the system.
He decided.
But. we never saw what it was.

Scene 1: A New World

Rudra opened his eyes to silence.

Not the silence of a quiet room—but the hollow, pulsing silence of a place that shouldn't exist.

He wasn't home.

He wasn't anywhere real.

The world around him shimmered—towers built from shifting lines of code, streets paved with light, and people... glitching in and out like corrupted memories.

There is a screen in the sky:
"WELCOME TO MIRRORVERSE"

He glances at his hands.

They flicker.

His body is half-real, half-code.

"Did I upload?" he whispers.
"Or is this just a memory?"

Scene 2: Ghost from the past!!

Rudra moved through the crowd in silence.

Faces blinked in and out of focus.

Some smiled mid-sentence and froze. Others twitched, stuck in loops—laughing, crying, rewinding.

One man walked forward but kept resetting to the same spot. A child's laugh echoed, then cut off like a glitchy file.

These weren't people.

They were memories... corrupted and stuck in playback.

Rudra's stomach turned.

"This isn't living," he whispered. "It's a digital graveyard."

One of them is Ankit's look-alike.

Another is Rony.

And then he sees himself—his duplicate (maybe a doppelganger)—laughing and chatting with Ishaan.

He hides.

There are duplicates, memories, and versions of people all around in this world.

"This is not heaven or hell," Rudra says.
"It's a storage room... for minds."

Scene 3: Return of Ishaan a.k.a. No_Face

The lights vanished.

A low hum filled the air, like the system itself was holding its breath.

Then... a figure emerged from the shadows — fully formed, skin and breath and grin.
Ishaan.

No longer a glitch. No longer a ghost.

Flesh. Real. Standing just a few feet away.

"You made the choice, Rudra," he said, voice smooth as glass.
"You uploaded. You're mine now."

Rudra stepped back, breath sharp.
"This place... it's not real."

Ishaan smiled. "Reality is overrated. This is the future."
