Chapter 13: Rescue

Jungkook let out a sigh

"Yes...those were the men"

"I knew it...they looked so dangerous.
Why did he go there?"

"That's the question I'm asking myself"

"What was the last time they did to Jimin?"

"They kidnapped Clara... Jimin's ex-girlfriend. Even if Jimin doesn't want to help her because she just financially betrayed him...he still went out to help her. And he paid the price... a lot of bruises. But he made a deal that if he helps their community, they will stop. I don't know what happened this time."

"Why are they doing this?
Who do they think they are?
Do they even have the right to do this?"

"Jeongyeon... Jimin will be going to be mad at me if I say it myself... just ask him after we rescue him. I'm sure he wants to let you know everything..."

"Yeah...he shared some of it already to me..."

A call on Jungkook's phone...

"Hello? Appa? Yes yes were here northwest from the resort. Ask the guys to escort you here they'll just track our GPS."

When Jungkook's father arrived he was on call with Jeollanam-do's Mayor...

"Jungkook...if you believe its them you better move and act quick now."

"But mayor... I only have 12 men here..."

"It doesn't matter. Act now."
the mayor firmly said

Jungkook gulped and inhaled deeply

"Alright alright I'm calling the island's police officers and together we'll search there- Jeong?
I need you to stay in the house please? Miss Hwang, Tae, and six of you go back in the house and lock the doors. Be alert on my messages and calls." Jungkood said and went their way

"Be careful guys!"

Jimin's POV

Miss Hwang received a lot of threats this morning and she went on a panic and woke me.
I knew who they were. I need to talk to them to make a deal. This needs to stop. I want a new life now. Especially with Jeongyeon. I want to put all the past behind me. I want to end this rules I made and just continue to help without the cost of ruining people's lives. I am beginning to think I can do it - but the people who hated my parents here still affects me.

I decided to face them and talk to them. I know it's a risk. But in life, there will be no lessons or learnings without taking risks. I believe taking risks makes you wiser and bolder. So here I am again - with a renewed mind and boldly facing this hoping I can live peacefully.

Jimin entered the road where a narrow pathway leads to a tiny house...but he hasn't reached there because ... he was knocked off by a sudden punch.
