leah's pov:
walker was absolutely freaking out.
not in like a mental way. no pacing or full on spirals. he was too calm for that.
but i knew the signs. the subtle ones. like the way he couldn't sit still for more than five minutes. or how he kept tugging on the sleeve of his hoodie like it had personally offended him.
also, he'd been suspiciously quiet this morning. which, for walker, was basically a sign for disaster.
we were in the trailer, running lines, or pretending to, and i was watching him from behind my script. he kept looking at me like i was about to throw something at him.
which, honestly, i wouldn't put it past myself.

i notice a lot more than he thinks.
like how he always looks around when a scene gets too quiet. or how he over prepares when he's nervous. or how he'd been acting weird ever since the updated script came through with that added moment. the kiss.
it wasn't a big deal, after all it was only a peck on the cheek.
nothing romantic, not really.
but maybe it would've felt less loaded if walker didn't keep overthinking it. or if i wasn't starting to notice that i kind of... liked the way it got to him.
just a little.
like how he's
