Noon came and everyone who is currently on patrol is obliged to go back. Detective West was already inside the room. The blueprint of their plan is laid on the table, West also explained the plan to them and how they could catch Sanford.
"So that's it. We will not directly ambush his ground. I received a memo from our Agent that this Sanford is not easy to catch. He knows everyone's tactics. He knows everyone's plan. We will not go with it. LAPD and Metro have to trust us this time. We have the best Agent on the ground to make sure to put down Sanford and his people." West explained. Everyone listened to him, while some of the officers were still curious about the agents he was talking about.
"Sorry for asking, as much as we want to trust the FBI for this operation, we don't know who the agent you are talking about, and I think we deserve who that person is so that we could coordinate with the Agent properly." Bradford raises his hand asking West about the Agent.
"Sorry but Agent is classified. We can't disclose any information about that. Sorry, Sergeant–?"
"Bradford." Tim answered. Everyone is still curious. Meanwhile, Angela and Nyla literally know who the hell West is actually talking about. Even Celina and Aaron know who it is. They just silently smirked and were proud of their bestfriend.
"Bradford. You have to trust them. Don't question them. One thing is for sure, this will be Sanford's end." Det. Angela said.
"Fine." Tim rolled his eyes.
West continued to explain the plan to them.
"So that's it. The operation will start later at night. Apology for the morning shifts, I already talked to Lt. Grey about your overtime and he approved it." West stated and looked at Grey.
"Yeah. We have to work overtime today and be on each other's backs especially with the three bodies of police officers that were found in Wilshire. I advised everyone to bring your family here in the station. So their safety will be watched." Lt. Grey announced.
"Dismissed. Detective West, I need to talk to you for a second." Detective West followed him to his office. "You need to talk to me, Sir?" Grey hugged him tight. "I am so proud of you, Jackson. You've been through a lot and you have come so far. The Wilshire family is so proud of you." Lt. Grey said and West smiled. "Thank you, sir. Without your knowledge and without the lessons you have given me. I will not be here today. By the way, where's Capt. Anderson?" West replied. "Well, she's upstairs. She's doing fine, and as always she always does her best. How about Lucy? How is she? Is she the Agent you are talking about?" Lt. Grey found the opportunity to ask him. "Yeah. She is. She is doing fine also, slaying every case dropped to us. She's one of the best agents the FBI ever had. It will really be Sanford's mistake to touch Los Angeles knowing THE Lucy Chen exists in this area." West proudly said with pride in his voice. "Good to know. I just don't know why she doesn't want her to be known by everyone. She deserves recognition." Grey said and West's emotion suddenly changed from cloud nine to being sad. "It is her story to tell, Lieutenant. She's been through so much. I think we need catching up soon? Including her. She's been too distant to me and to everyone in the FBI. She needs fresh air as of this moment." Grey was shocked upon receiving new information. "Update me about her, okay?" Lt. Grey said. "Noted, sir. You might meet her tomorrow on the operation. I don't know what she's planning. But I know she has her own plan. For tomorrow, Sanford is under surveillance." Jackson said. Grey felt a leap of heartbeat knowing that Lucy is actually planning something. No one knows but Lucy is his adopted child. They rescued her when she was 2, a case of abandonment by her own parents. They took her in and treated her as their own child. But things become different when she starts telling Grey and Luna that she will do law enforcement. Both of them didn't approve of it at first knowing the danger it really holds. But because she was stubborn, she went her own way, started training after finishing college. She entered the military at a young age and became the greatest soldier in their team. She does that without her parents knowing about it. They didn't get to be mad because deep inside they are proud of her. They are proud of what she has done for the country and for other countries too. Upon hearing those words from Jackson, Grey knows something is going on with his daughter.
