It had been a good few weeks since everything had happened.

I had been to several appointments, and every time me and the baby were perfect.

Jonas had resigned from the position as manager and an interim manager, Renee, was now in place.

The whole team had been playing incredible with Renee in leadership.

Arsenal had qualified for the knock out stages of the champions league.

International break came round quickly. England were playing the US and Switzerland.

The game against America finished 0-0, but they won against Switzerland 1-0.

I had gone to both games because I had been given permission by my doctor to start walking and doing small exercises.

It was now the final game of 2024.

I was eight months pregnant and Arsenal were playing Bayern Munich in the final game of the group stages.

Lottie and Maisie were wrapped up in layers, both of them fast asleep in their pushchair with blankets round them.

"I'll score for you." Alessia told me as we went our separate ways.

I pressed my lips against hers, as her hands went to my bump.

"He's proper kicking in there."

"Let me feel!" Kyra exclaimed, hearing Alessia say that the baby was kicking.

I placed Kyra's hand where he was kicking, her mouth opening.

"Does that not hurt?"

"A bit but you get used to it. I just wish he was here already."

"He'll be here soon, baby." Less tells me, kissing Lottie and Maisie's head. "I'll come see you at half time."

"Okay. Love you."

I walked out to my seats, walking past a few fans who shouted my name.

Thank god it was mid December because I wore a massive jacket that covered my bump so none of the fans would see.

Me and less have now decided to only announce the birth once he's here so but with a fully term bump, it was getting hard to.

"Hi, liv." Amanda, Leah's mum, said as I took my seat next to her.

"Hiya." I said out of breath, attempting to smile at her. "Them stairs are difficult now."

"I bet they are. How is everything going? Leah's so excited to meet her new nephew." Amanda told me

"Yeah everything's going well. Hopefully he'll come any day now. I haven't asked Leah yet but me and lessi want her to be little man's godmother. If she wants to."

"Oh, liv. She'd love to be. She'll say yes. I know she will."

"I'm hoping she does."

The game kicked off and within the first ten minutes, a Bayern Munich player scored an own goal for Arsenal.

Bayern Munich soon bounced back and scored a goal.

At half time, Alessia came over to me instead of me going to her.

I hugged her quickly before she was called into the changing rooms.

I quickly hug Georgia too who was walking towards the changing rooms.

"I'll see you after the game." I say to G as I hug her

"I know it's been weeks since I last saw you."

"I saw you two weeks ago."

"Still. That's a long time without my best friend."

In the 58', Bayern Munich score but as soon as the game kicked off again, lessi scored making it 2-2.

She celebrates with the team before running over towards me, blowing me a kiss.

Then, as the game came to an end, Arsenal had a penalty.

Mariona took it and sent it past the keeper and into the bottom left.

The girls woke up just before the final whistle blew and so I took them out their pushchair and rested them on my lap.

Once the team talks were over, less and Georgia walked over.

"Hi bubbas. Have they just woken up?" Less asks me and I nod. Alessia takes them from me and rests them in her hands.

Lottie and Maisie both melt into her, resting their heads against her shoulders.

They do a lap round the pitch thanking the fans.
