No one could stop them - Part Two ~ A.R

~ twenty two ~

Today was a big day in my recovery.

I was finally going to be able to kick a ball, something I hadn't done in months.

I was putting my boots on for the first time in nearly six months.

"This feels so weird." I laugh as I walk out onto the pitch with Alessia.

"I bet, baby. Remember, be careful today, okay? Don't push yourself too hard. It won't be good for you or little man."

"I won't, lessi."

"Actually, I'll stay for the first fifteen. I wanna watch your big moment." Less says

I drop my water bottle down, doing a few stretches before the physio therapist tells me to start a slow jog.

Everything went perfect. I was finally running.

We then started passing, the physio letting me and less pass to each other.

"How you feeling, livvy?" Less asks, clearly worried.

"I'm fine, baby. My knees not sore at all. Just a bit tense but that's fine. Now you go start training with the team, I'll be fine here."

"Fine..." less sighs, pressing her lips on mine before jogging to the join the rest of the girls.

As the girls were having their water break, they huddled round, clapping as I finish my running.

"I'm so tired." I joke, practically collapsing into the ground as I chug my water. "Running pregnant is no joke."

"I'm so proud of you, livvy." Leah whispers as she hugs me.

The girls come and hug me, before they continue training, me however going inside and doing a quick physio session in the gym.

The team played a few more matches, one against a bk Häcken, this time winning 4-0, and then a game against Leicester, Frida scoring the winning goal in the 55' minute and finally finishing with a draw against Everton.

The team were now flying out to Germany to play Bayern Munich.

I was now 26 weeks pregnant and my symptoms were worse than ever.

I was still being sick, the nausea being so bad.

I had the worst cravings, waking up in the middle of the night to go downstairs and get the weirdest of foods.

Because of my bad symptoms still, I decided not to go with to Germany, deciding to stay home instead.

Alessia took Lottie and Maisie too, the team telling us that they'd all step in and help with them.

I was touched at their willingness and although I was going to keep them with me, I was tired and desperately needed a break.

Whilst the team were away, Alessia got Carol to come in and check on me every day.

It was the third day of Alessia and the girls being away when I started having some mild pain in my stomach.

I pushed it to the side, figuring maybe I had overdone it in my last physio appointment.

Carol came later that afternoon and everything was fine, there still being some pain.

Less was due back tomorrow so if it got worse, we'd go to the hospital then.

I eventually went to sleep, my stomach in a lot more pain than earlier.

I woke up all throughout the night, my back and stomach in excruciating pain.

I couldn't move. It was that sore.

A few more hours and less would be back.

I went back to sleep as that was the only thing that helped with the pain.

"Baby, we're home! Livvy?"

"Mama?" I heard Maisie call, obviously copying less.

"Here." I manage to mumble, my whole body in agony.

I had tears flowing down my face when Alessia got upstairs.

"Liv? What's wrong, pretty girl?"

"My stomach, less. It hurts so bad. I can't get up. I can't move." I explain in between sobs.

Less drops all her bags and immediately rips the covers off me.

She looks down to be met with a bright red stain.

"Fuck. Livvy, let's get you in the car. I'll call my mum and she'll come and look after the girls. I'll grab a change of clothes for you and I'll grab..." less begins, trying to put on a strong face but I could see the nerves and dread on her face, identical to mine.

"I'm so sorry, lessi."

"No, don't you dare say you're sorry. You've done nothing wrong. Little man might be fine, livvy. Here, let's get you in the car." Less says, picking me up bridal style before carrying me downstairs.

She gets me into the car, leaving an emotional kiss to my forehead.

This was now how I planned the day to go.
