Chapter 2 (AppleDash): Acceptance

Heyyyyy!!!!! I was requested by the one and only iluvvvme_ to do a AppleDash chapter. Her stories are so fucking good and she was actually one of the people to inspire me to start writing fanfics! Here we go and hope u enjoy!

AppleJack and Rainbow Dash were taking a nap in AJ's bedroom after working hard in the barn. They didn't want Dash to help but she insisted.

AJ and Dash have been dating for a year and 3 months so that meant Dash came over a LOT (most of the time she'd sneak through AJs window)

Dash was the first to wake up, cuddled up to AJ's chest. She saw AJ's sleeping face, peaceful and calm. She smiled and quietly giggled, kissing her on the cheek.

AppleJacks eyes fluttered opened when she felt that kiss. She stretched and yawned, then hugged her girlfriend. They gave each other a kiss on the lips.

Rainbow Dash: "Hey you little sleepyhead." She smirked.

AppleJack: "Hi sugarcube" She started playing with Dash's hair.

They were snuggled up for a few minutes in comfortable and peaceful silence, not wanting this moment to end.

Then all of a sudden..

*KNOCK KNOCK*

AppleJack: "Cmon in!"

Turns out it was granny smith! She saw the two cuddling, which she didn't mind. Eventually AJ told her they were dating.

FLASHBACK

AppleBloom, Big Mac (🍔), and Granny Smith were at the table, eating breakfast.

Granny Smith: "Where is that AppleJack?"

AppleBloom: "I can go get her!"

AppleBloom ran upstairs to AJ's bedroom, seeing her sleeping peacefully. She ran up to AJ's bed and jumped on it, waking her up.

AppleJack: "What in tarnation are ya doin AppleBloom!? I was sleepin!?"

AppleJack was PISSED. She just wanted to get some sleep!

AppleBloom: "Granny wanted me to get ya for breakfast! Usually you don't sleep in, everythin alright sis?"

AppleJack sighed.

AppleJack: "I'm mighty fine sister, just stayed up later than the usual."

AppleBloom: "If ya say so!" She shrugged and ran out of the room.

AppleJack sat up and stretched, immediately looking at her phone.

Dash🌈💙:
       "Morning! Hope you slept well and ehh sorry for keeping you up so late! 😅😅❤️"

AppleJack smiled. She was up so late cause her and Rainbow Dash stayed up til 3AM texting. She couldn't say that tho, she hadn't come out yet. They've been dating for 3 weeks.

AJ🍎❤️:
"Good Morning Sugarcube and it's quite alright! Didn't mind one bit. 🙂❤️"

AppleJack put down her phone and got up to go get breakfast.

Granny Smith: "Why were ya up so late?"

AppleJack: *sigh, of course AppleBloom said somethin.* "Couldn't sleep well."

AppleJack felt so wrong saying that. She rarely lies. I mean hey, element of honesty cmon now 🤷‍♀️!

Granny Smith: "Alrighty if ya say so! Cmon and eat sum breakfast."

AppleJack exhaled, not realizing she was holding her breath.

In the middle of breakfast, AJ couldn't eat cause she was so nervous about everything. She just was not ready to talk about everything. Like admitting shes-

AppleJack: "I STAYED UP LATE TEXTING RAINBOW DASH CUS WE'RE DATIN." She gasped and put her hands on her jaw dropped mouth. She said it so fast and could not believe she said it.

Everyone at the table was in shock. Okay well besides AppleBloom.. Hopefully we all know why.

It took them a few minutes. Granny Smith was thinking to herself, Big Mac was staring at the ground and AppleBloom was just eating in confusion.

Big Mac: "I-I don't know what to say. Ah mean I'm so proud of ya but this, this is just so.. new."

Big Mac rubbed her shoulder and AppleJack started tearing up but smiled at him.

AppleJack: "Thank y-you. And I-I'm so sorry Granny."

Granny Smith: "...No needa be sorry hon. I'm just so grateful it's Rainbow Dash you're datin. She's a great person and i'm very proud. Just gotta get used to it of course"

Granny and AJ hugged.

AppleBloom: "Wait a minute, Lemme get this straight! (PLEASE TELL ME YALL GET THE REFERENCE.) A girl can date a girl!?"

They all had a good laugh at that one.

Granny Smith smiled

Granny Smith: "I made some fresh Apple Cider if yall would like some!"

Rainbow Dash: "YES PLEASE!?" She ran out with her magic like freaking Sonic the Hedgehog

AppleJack and Granny Smith looked at each other and giggled. AJ knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her.
