Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, marked the start of a whirlwind of chaos. I woke up to a delicious tray of pancakes, fried eggs, and a small bowl of berries. I sat up, eager to see what the day held, and noticed Samuel was the only one present in the room. "Hey," He greeted. "Slept well?" "You bet I did," I said while stretching.

"Where's Devin and the freshman?" "You mean Toni? They're downstairs in the lobby. You ok?" I took a bite of the pancakes to distract myself from that question. I nodded my head yes, knowing damn well I'm not good. I'm still processing how Devin could call me his girl when he should be saying that to Toni. He must have been joking.

"You know, Devin and Toni might not be as serious as you think. " Samuel chimed in my thoughts. "You wanna go to the pool?" "They have a pool here?" I happily said. "Yup, they do. Now, do you want to take my offer?" "Nah, I'm good, but thanks." I got up and started getting ready for the day.

Twenty minutes later, I was admiring myself in the mirror, wearing my light blue jeans, red crop top, and black Nikes. I tied my hair with a brown scrunchie into a slightly messy bun and put my phone in my pocket. When Samuel and I went downstairs, we saw our classmates just relaxing, and Devin/the girl, cuddled up on the rug near the fire pit.

I walked up to them with an insincere smile (though you cannot tell it wasn't), saying, "Hey y'all!" "Hey," Toni said, "Sup, Till?" Devin asked me. "I'm good," I responded. "How y'all slept?" "Pretty good," He answered. "Same," Toni chimed in. "I love your shirt, girl!" "Thank you," I said.

Okay, okay, let's stop the small talk, that shit ain't essential. The strange stuff started happening after lunch in the staff room. The whole class returned to the hotel after exploring Los Angeles. I heard a deep voice, "Think you can escape me?" I turned around to see who was talking to me. No one was.

"Go to the staff room." The voice spoke again. I snuck around, finding a door across the bathroom. I heard a few people whispering since it was cracked. "Yo, my watch got stolen again."

"Someone put toothpaste in my shampoo bottle." My eyes widened as I heard the rumors. Were they true? Was there something or someone haunting this place? I went back to my room to listen to music. Now, I'm going to pass the camera to Devin.

Hey, ladies and gentlemen, it's time you got to know me.
