Dean was processing everything she was saying and every word was like a small dagger to his heart. He had really hurt her. He never intended to, this was breaking him.
Sierra continues, "like this is insane. I always thought I was so smart, but you know I'm an idiot. This is why I stick to school because of facetious men like you. I am so so so stupid. I cannot believe I really thought you liked me. I actually really liked you. You were just like perfect, you know? You're tall, those green eyes. You are strong and such a gentleman, well I thought you were. You sure know how to please a woman, but I guess when you pull this all the time you get used to it. Worst of all I liked you, like deep down. I admired your brain, your soul, I thought I saw your heart. Turns out I didn't. It was a mirror. I saw my own pure heart and soul and I was duped." Sierra stopped because she couldn't continue the tears were pouring out and she could barely stand. She had never been this way before she was so embarrassed to be beside herself in front of this man she didn't recognize anymore.
Dean seeing her cry made him weak, but he knew he couldn't just walk over to her; he needed to let his words work first; that is what was missing all along. His lack of words caused all of this pain for the both of them.
"Sierra. Sierra I am so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen. Please believe me sex was not my goal, it just happened and I'm glad it did. It was amazing, but that's not what I was, what I am after. I want you. I was Sierra Evans. I was your heart, mind, body, and soul, every perfection and imperfection. I don't like Devin when she finished. I had to gather my thoughts so that I would not hurt her. She is still my friend and my sister's best friend. I had to say it right. She is not the woman I am after, the one I'm after is right in front of me. I realize that me delaying letting you know how much I care and desire you has caused all of this pain. For so long I wanted to tell you, but I was so afraid. I am no longer afraid. I can no longer live without you, I wake up thinking about you, I go to sleep thinking about you, everything pure and beautiful reminds me of you. I can't laugh without wishing I was hearing yours. Sierra please hear me when I say I want you, no one else. My intentions are not with lust. If you were an option would be my only one because you are the only one for me, trust me. The only person I want or will ever want for the rest of my life. You were right, you saw my heart, soul, and mind calling for you. They were offering to you for you to accept me and join with me as one. I feel whole and complete with you regardless of how we communicate when we bicker, argue, laugh, talk, or fight. I feel whole with you. Please Sierra give me one chance to make this right to show you who I am to fight for you. I need you, I want you, I can't continue without you. I've already waited long enough." Dean left his heart on the table, his everything on the line.
Sierra began crying again, but not out of sadness out of embarrassment for misjudging Dean and treating him bad for the last few days. She also cried out of joy, he really liked her and actually wanted her just as bad she wanted him. She knew there was a reason she couldn't get over him.
With her eyes full of tears and face completely damp due to tears she walked up to Dean and hugged him and he returned the hug she rested her head on his chest and continued crying as he squeezed her and wrapped his arms and coated her in his scent and unwavering devotion to her. She felt it and she felt warm and safe for the first time in months.
"Dean, I am so sorry. I should've just heard you out the first time. I was so scared of being hurt I preemptively wrote you off. I never meant to make you feel like that. It wasn't your fault. You Devin were having a private conversation and I should not have been listening. It was wrong to assume you told her yes while you had just texted me you wanted to kiss me, I was being a coward I am so sorry." Sierra apologized while still in his embrace
"It's okay, I should've confessed for a long time. At this point I almost told everyone how I felt about you but you." Dean said while chuckling, hugging Sierra tighter.
Sierra looked up and kissed Dean and he returned her kiss with more passion and fire. As their lips melted into one another's their tongues met and meshed and his hands migrated to her lower back while his hands squeezed as they kissed harder. Sierra's hands moved from his waist to his neck and then his face. They were one and wrapped in passion in their kiss.
As a library attendant, walked by checking all the rooms. She spotted the two wrapped up in a kiss and per the library rules there are no displays of physical affection in the rooms cause people always take it too far. She dreaded what she had to do next, but it was apart of the job.
She knocked on the glass of the room. She startled the two and they instantly stopped kissing and separated looking guilty and embarrassed.
"Sorry to interrupt, but no kissing and or groping allowed in the rooms..." The library attendant warned
"Yeah sorry about that" Sierra said while awkwardly laughing trying to avoid eye contact with both Dean and the attendant
"Yeah so sorry." Dean said disingenuously as the attendant walked away as fast as she could
Sierra continued to avoid looking at Dean because they both poured out their hearts and that is not something she really likes to do. But they are magnetic so it was hard to not look at him after all he is she wants. She looks up at Dean eventually and he was already looking at her smiling in adoration. Once they made eye contact they began laughing at getting caught making out in the study room. When they stop Dean decides he needs to get straight to business.
"Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, would you like to go on a date with me?" Dean asked
"Yes of course Dean." Sierra said with the biggest smile on her face and in her heart.

Hello guys! I have made a correction I intended on fifteen chapters instead of sixteen. I do not want to drag out the story with mindless or mid-content. I want to keep it readable and enjoyable. So this is the second to last chapter and the last one, chapter 14, I am not sure how long it will be and it was most likely be mostly written in third person since it is a conclusion to the story and will include time skips but will have details of Sierra and Dean's blooming relationship as well as some of the supporting character updates. I hope you guys are enjoying reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it this past year, sorry it took so long!
