Chapter 14- Not an Option, Try Again

Start from the beginning

"Hey Sierra, how was your day Love?" Lilian asked

"Horrible, I ran into Dean. Literally." Sierra complained

"Oh. Not good then."

"I got an A on my philosophy assignment though so a small win!" Sierra tried to lift the mood

"Hey, can I ask a favor?" Lilian asked nervously

"Yes of course, for you anything. What's up?"

"I have a new friend who needs some tutoring in his intro english, he's not the brightest. Do you mind helping him for an hour or so tomorrow? You are the smartest person I know, especially if it pertains to english." Lilian asked trying to hold her cover

"Yeah I can! What time?" Sierra said excited to help someone

"Seven at the library, the second study room." Lilian replied

Sierra hearing the exact room her and Dean always worked in during their project last year made her blood run cold. Her mind was flooded with memories of her and Dean's time in that room bickering and at the end secret admiration, which reminded her it was one-sided. She became overwhelmed and excused herself to her room so she could nap before the tutoring session. She needed it to calm herself especially since she would be entering that godforsaken room again filled with memories of Dean.

Time skip - The next day, February 13th at 6:45pm

Once Dean had talked to Lilian he reported back to his friends that Lilian was willing to help him and told them the plan. They agreed it would be good and sent their friend prayers and well wishes that it would turn out all right. It had been a rocky few months, but all of their friends and even Devin hoped it would all work out for the two of them. It was clear to anyone that they had something special.

Dean began walking to the library with a familiar nervous feeling he felt in the last weeks of November and the beginning of December. He knew this time words had to work, words he had to get her to understand. He was hoping she would give him a chance. Dean reached the library and entered the room where it all started. He began pacing around the room uncontrollably.

For comfort and inspiration he thought back to his parents vow renewal about how his dad spoke to and about his mother and that he would emanate that energy so pure and full of nothing but love and good intentions because, that's what he feels for Sierra.

Dean paced around thinking so much he didn't hear Sierra enter or even realize ten minutes had passed and it was 7:00pm already.

"Hey, I'm Sierra! I'm supposed to tutor you on English right? You're Lilian's friend?" Sierra introduced before realizing who was in front of her turned around.

Dean turned around to the sound of her voice. Instantly Sierra looked like she saw a ghost. She realized she had been tricked. She felt betrayed at Lilian for lying to her and annoyed at Dean because he kept trying.

"Oh hell no. Fuck you and her." Sierra said harshly. She began to turn around before he even said a word to her, but she realized she needed to get everything off her chest to let him know she was serious with him that she is done and has no interest.

"You know what no. You are sick and so goddamn annoying. I don't know how many times I have to tell you I am no longer interested. I am not an option to you. I will not be girl number one, two, three, or however many you have. I am not an option for you, it's me or no one, but clearly that's not how you operate so no I'm done. You want to puppy dog eye me for weeks and flirt around and seduce me. Then you get what all men want, to fuck and then you want to just move on to the girl who's always been around. It's sick and I really thought you liked me. No wonder you took forever to tell me how you felt about me. You never really intended to cause you didn't like me, you were just lustful. Great act Dean really great act. I actually fell for it. Fuck you. I can't believe I told my mom I liked you. What an idiot I look like now. I can't wait to live the rest of my life away from you." Sierra berates Dean and tears begin to form in her eyes and her voice begins to break.
