Chapter 1

7-Adam-14, this is dispatch. Bank robbery in progress, location is Wilshire Bank, Wilshire Boulevard Ext. Code 1. 7-Adam-14, do you copy?

"7-Adam-14, responding. En route. Request for backup." Celina answered the radio.

"This is 7-Adam-11, responding. 2 minutes away from the area. Coming." Aaron radioed in.

They responded to the call, and they were able to de-escalate the crime that was about to happen.

"LAPD! Put your guns down, hands behind your head. Do not move!" Due to fear, the suspect wasn't able to move and he was arrested by Nolan. Meanwhile, rookies helped the people inside the bank to get out safely.

"7-Adam-14, code 4." Celina radioed in. Luckily, there were no people hurt nor shot by the suspect.

"That was intense." Celina said while walking with Aaron.

"It was. Some people really have to make the worst decision and end up regretting it later." Aaron commented.

"Exactly. But yeah, we don't know what comes to a human being's mind. So we can't fully judge them." Celina rebutted and Aaron just nodded to agree with her.

"Thorsen, let's go." Tim backed in his TO mood.

"Yes, sarge!" Aaron said following Tim. Nolan and Celina also proceeded to go back to the station to book the suspect. After booking in the suspect, they went back to their shop, and continued their patrol since they still have 4 hours left on their shift.

While they were in the shop, Celina's phone rings.

"Oh hey, Lucy! How are you? I've been trying to call you, but you're not answering. I am literally worried about you." Celina said, Celina is one of Lucy's friends.

"Just fine, I got so busy that I forgot to turn off the do not disturb of my phone. We are working on the current case that was dropped to us yesterday. And if you are going to ask me if I got enough sleep? No, definitely not. How about you? How are you? And also Aaron? Can you say hi to Angela and Nyla for me please." Lucy replied.

"Yeah. I know. I know that you weren't able to sleep soundly. It's time to move out, Lucy. And yeah, I am fine. Aaron, fine too. And surely your hi to Angela and Nyla will be sent to them." Celina giggled. They have been besties ever seen but no one knows since their friendship is kinda low key and private. Their work has already been too public and exhausting so they have a private time also for themselves.

"By the way, I have to go. See you soon." Lucy said and dropped the call.

" Who was that?" Nolan curiously asked.

"A friend of mine." Celina shortly answered.

"Oh, okay. She's working in this field too?" Nola asked once again.

"Sorry, sir. Not my story to tell." Celina answered. She knows that Lucy doesn't like to be talked about by people.

"Oh okay, sorry."

"It's okay sir." Celina smiled.

Their day ended well. Tim went home and started watching football, while Lucy has the same routine everyday, every time she comes back from work. She will have her gym exercises, punching a punching bag for how many reps. Doing everything to be physically fit. Tim is currently enjoying his football, and Lucy is enjoying her exercises.

The next day...

It's a new day for everyone. A new day for both Lucy and Tim. However, this is not a good day for both the FBI and the LAPD. The suspect is still on the loose. They can't just sit and relax knowing how many officers or civilians will be in jeopardy at any moment. Agent Lucy is still studying and planning on how they can capture the suspect, and LAPD's are also talking about what actions they can possibly do.

"Okay, not a very good morning as you all know we are still looking for Chris Sanford. In the difficulties of this case, the Captain of Mid-Wilshire is with us today." Grey said introducing Capt. Zoe Anderson to everyone. Zoe Anderson is the new Capt. of Mid-Wilshire.

"Hello everyone. I know that the recent case is actually going to be difficult knowing what the suspect Sanford can possibly do. But one thing is for sure, we can capture him. With the help of the FBI, Metro, and SWAT. The FBI just updated me and Lt. Grey about their plan. We will meet Detective West today at exactly 12 noon as he will be the one to share the information and the blueprint of their plan." Everyone nodded to what their new Captain just said. They also gave her a warm welcome.

"Any questions?" Capt. Anderson asked once again.

"None." Officers responded.

"That's all for today. I'll give you an update. Be safe out there." Grey ended the roll call. They all stand up and went to their own agenda. Celina went to Aaron, Lopez and Harper to tell them about Lucy.

"Hey, Lucy called me yesterday. I forgot to tell you that she is sending her hi to the both of you. Also to you Aaron."

"Really? It's been a while since I saw that girl. How is she?" Nyla asked.

"Well, not really good. There's a nearby construction near her place and it was all noisy and it literally destroyed her sleeping time." Celina replied. Tim went near them to get his rookie.

"Aaron, what are you doing? Let's go! Ready our shop." Tim said in his strict voice. Aaron left the room and prepared their shop.

"By the way, who are you guys talking about?" Tim suddenly asked.

"None, Bradford." Angela replied and went with Nyla after their short conversation with Celina. Celina also went out to prepare their shop.
