.....Punch, punch, stab, slash, punch, kick....

That was all Kraken was given as attention from her mother......her very harsh and angry mother. "M-Mother! S-s-stop! I-it hurts!!" Kraken whimpered as her mother beat her, although she didn't move, the guards doing their patrol around the cell, didn't even bat an eye, as long as they didn't escape or anything like that, they would get paid.

Her RainWing mother kept beating her, many battle wounds opening and many others being created. "Stupid useless dragonet! I regret you being hatched! A horrible mistake!" She screamed at Kraken as her claws and talons ravaged Kraken's body, a bit of Kraken's blood trickling down her talons and soiling some of her scales. Kraken eventually passed out, from blood loss and pain, waking up to talons shaking her awake....

........."Kraken? Kraken! Please be alive, for the love of three moons please be alive!! Talons and Tails!!!" Sandstorm spoke as she had a worried expression. Kraken groaned as her eyes flickered open, sore bones and dried wounds being a pain to wake up with. ".....mhp..... Sandstorm? I'm alive. I'm alive....." Kraken spoke in a timid voice, afraid of being beat, though she knew Sandstorm wouldn't beat her...she hoped not.

"Oh Kraken, you're alive!" Sandstorm yelped, before looking at her wounds, a frown appearing on her snout. "Kraken...." Sandstorm said with a sad tone, her SandWing scales being a change from the dark and cold cells with her warm bright yellow scales. ".......T-this is just from a battle.... The master wanted me to fight with one of the older dragons....i almost lost, but I didn't want to die"

Kraken told a half lie, yes, the master of the arena did make her fight with an older dragon and did get some pretty deep wounds from that, but her mother caused the majority of the other wounds. Here's how the arena works, kill or be killed, no exceptions, and Master will watch with glee as the blood splatters across the arena, or else he will be very mad.....

Sandstorm huffed, slightly annoyed, Kraken never blamed her mother, even though she was the cause of many problems. "Come on, lemme bandage that up..." Sandstorm spoke softly, Kraken nodding, getting up with pain and a small groan coming out of her snout. Sandstorm felt bad for Kraken, wanting to cheer her up, she fell into a thoughtful expression, finally finding something, she of course suggested it.

"Hey, when I'm done bandaging ya up, you wanna know some stuff about the SandWings, my own tribe?". Kraken nodded, eyes going wide with excitement, Kraken simply loved learning, she loved new knowledge about pretty much anything! This was one of the few and rare occasions of her eyes sparkling with emotions. Although, she had to wait until Sandstorm was done bandaging her, which was honestly was gonna take a while....

After a long while, Of which Kraken did not enjoy very well, Sandstorm was done, was telling Kraken all about SandWings, or at least was she knew, from before her mother died... "...And they all have barbs like me! And they're all yellow-ish too, like me! So cool right?" Sandstorm said and Kraken nodded with bright colors painting her scales as a sign of excitement. Sandstorm loved when she could make Kraken happy.

"I wish I could be with the other SandWings....not here..." Sandstorm finally admitted, feeling just a bit sad, after talking about SandWings, it made her a little home-sick. Kraken's color turned into dark blues and greens, showing her sadness as well, she wanted to know what the outside world was like, she never saw the sunlight except from fighting the arena, or never knew what green grass or trees looked like. Kraken hated where she was now, in this dark and scary dungeon.
