Chapter 7: Closer

"Ok bye"

[All of their conversation are heard by Jimin of course]

While taking a shower, Jeongyeon remembered all the things Jimin has said to her. About paying the price of almost telling someone about his house and animal collection- about the change she sees in him - it all replays in her mind. About his pretty smile, about his concerns - but she doesn't think of anything else rather than a new friend. A new, rich friend perhaps. And still, it all feels so surreal. But one thing is for sure - she is happy.

After putting her towel around her and as she faces the mirror and dries her hair...

"I just got lucky"
she says in her mind

Jimin, on the other hand, can't stop thinking about what happened too. He couldn't believe his self that he would do things for his "guest" which includes accompanying and touring them around.

FLASHBACK:

Clara woke up and her whole body is aching.
Her nervous system is now anxious.
She was fearing for her life.
But she admittedly said it was her fault.
If only she really loved Jimin and didn't become greedy. She is only full of regrets now.
Regrets where time have no rewinds.

She went up and went to the bathroom and peed.
Even bending to the toilet makes her hips and butt hurt. She just closed her eyes in pain. She washed her face and she cried when she looked at the mirror.

Jimin, viewing her on the screen monitor, was satisfied seeing her in pain. Every struggle and agony is a bliss. Every time he sees the people who have hurt him hurting, a part of him somehow heals.

"Miss Hwang, please convince her to eat her breakfast" he said

After Clara ate her breakfast and took a bath and got dressed, Jimin came to her room. She was indeed traumatized from what happened -so every footstep she hears makes her heart beat fast.

Clara was sitting in the bed but her body was stiffed. Her hands are clenched together.

"Hey there Clara"
he smiled

She just looked at him blankly

"Did you sleep well?"
he continued to ask

she just nodded

"I'm here for your second task. This is just very easy. You can do this with ease since you did it to me. Put some make up on and wear something sexy. At lunch time later go to the bar outside and flirt with a guy. If you convinced a guy to have a dinner with you, or if a guy will ask you out for dinner, then you have passed the task. If not, then it will have consequences. Do you get it?"

Clara just nodded. She couldn't talk to him anymore. She has now become his willing slave or puppet.

After changing, Jimin immediately went down the kitchen and prepared. Jeongyeon was still not there.
