The Only Exception

Chapter 6: Changing

"You ask too many questions"
he brushed off and avoided the question while they continue to walk in the shore

She sighed
"Ok ... Well I'm just gonna assume that you do.
But Jimin, this is your business. The dinner was already alright for making it up to me. Free snorkelling and letting me stay in your house is too much. And I'm staying here for a month. Can I just be a paying customer again? The hotel room was just fine."

"No, you cannot. Why? Is it better than your room inside my house?"

"Both are fine. But Ji-"

"Not a single word, Jeongyeon."

He stared at her and slowly come near her and her expression changed

"Remember what you did last night? I told you you're going to pay right? This is one of the payments" he whispered and Jeongyeon got goosebumps

He smiled and Jeongyeon was just quiet and was kinda nervous. He laughed a bit and he then slowly took Jeongyeon's bag off her shoudler and carried it himself. He then slowly grabbed her hand

"Let's go the yacht is waiting for us"

"Ya-yacht???"
she confusingly asked; he laughed a bit again

Jeongyeon couldn't help but feel shy and surprised at the same time - why is the arrogant man in the resort took her to dinner, let her stay inside her house, making sure her needs are met - and now is holding her hand.

"Just calm down...just calm down...just act normal..." She says to herself in her mind

"Here we are. This is Captain Soojin and Instructor Lee...this is Jeongyeon"

"Annyeonghasaeyo"
she bowed to them

"Annyeonhasaeyo"
they replied and bowed

"Instructor Lee is gonna teach you some basic things - reminders and do's and don'ts"

"Oh ok thank you"

"Damn...I even have a personal instructor."
she says in her mind again

After she was taught the basic things they started to dive off the water. And Jimin is joining her.

To Jeongyeon, it was an experience she will never forget. She enjoyed a lot and made sure to look at every kind of fish and sea animal she encountered. To Jimin, snorkelling is not something new to him but rather the experience of joining someone - is new. He would never waste any time to anyone - he's the boss. He could just stay in his basement which are full of animals or have a vacation around the world or isolate or get back to his old habbit of playing with girls - but from this moment - he chose differently. He chose to be with Jeongyeon and showed her around.

They returned to the yacht, and rested for a while. Jimin covered her with a big towel. The yacht moved to the other side of the island.

The yacht stopped in a magnificent view as the sun is about to set...

"Dolphins will be out in a few minutes"
he says

"Oh mygosh I can't wait!!!"
she giggled

And then few more minutes of waiting...

"Ahhhh!!! Daebak!!!"
she recorded it on her phone and recorder her reaction too and she even caught a glimpse of Jimin's face on her phone

"Are you happy?"
he asked

"Very much so! I don't wanna leave!"
she happily said

"Then don't. Stay here with me."
He said in his mind.

Oh if only he could tell that to Jeongyeon.
But then he is still a bit prideful and hesitant.
Everything happened so fast. He is uncertain of this "new" feeling.

He just smiled at her

"You know what? You look good when you smile. Do it more often."  Jeongyeon said to him and he blushed a little

"What? Tsss. Nonsense"

"No really. The first time I saw you here you're so arrogant and always having a tiger look. Very different from what I see now."

"What--what do you see?"
he shyly looked at her

"I see a very handsome man"
she replied
