"Feathers and Fire"

A scarred wing points toward the sky,

Where dreams once dared, now smoke drifts by.

A younger gaze, both bright and raw,

Stares deep into the elder's flaw.

Not all who fly escape the flame,

And not all victories earn a name.

But in the hush of breath held tight,

The truth is whispered, sharp as night.

"An old, battle-worn hero pulls the newbie aside and drops some 'friendly advice,' the kind that sounds helpful but hits way too hard."

Flock Notes:

Dear Acturos,

Congrats on two whole years! That's wild. I still remember the first time I stumbled into one of your streams, someone had clipped one of your dumb jokes on Twitter and I clicked just out of curiosity. Next thing I knew, I was three hours deep into a VOD, laughing like I'd known you forever.

It's kinda funny, isn't it? How sometimes we find the exact thing we need when we're not even looking for it. Your streams became that for me. A place where I could just be, no pressure, no fake front. Just me, listening to a crow yell about games, stories, and life stuff that hit closer than I expected.

You have this way of mixing humor and honesty that feels... grounding. Like yeah, things are tough sometimes. We all carry stuff, mistakes, regrets, scars. But watching you show up anyway, wings a little ruffled but still going? That reminds me it's okay to not be perfect. It's okay to keep trying, even if the flight path is messy.

I think about the way you talk about things, not just the fun and chaos (which we all love), but the quieter stuff too. The tired moments. The real talk. It makes it feel like we're not just watching a stream, we're part of something. Part of a little flock that looks out for each other, even if it's just through chat messages and emotes.

Thank you for being the kind of creator who doesn't pretend to have it all figured out. Who let's people laugh, think, feel, all in one stream. It's helped more than I can put into words.

Happy 2 years, Cap. Here's to more feathers, more fire, and more quiet truths whispered between the chaos.

With a ton of love and gratitude,

- Just another crow in the chat

The fog was thinner now. Less of a veil, more of a shrug, like the world had grown tired of hiding. The trees surrounding the burnt-out chapel stood like bone fingers, blackened and creaking, watching silently as two winged figures crouched by the ashes.
