The day of meeting NCT DREAM came to fast for Minseos liking. She checked her look for what felt like the billions times in the mirror of the elevator on her way down to meet Seojun, who came to pick her up. Her black hair was pulled together in a high-ponytail, revealing her small ears with silver-golden piercings. Her face was mainly hidden by a black mask, her brown eyes being the most visible part of it. She practiced mirroring her expressions more through her eyes, so she would not appear to stoic and cold. Her outfit was a simple white and thin pullover, that was complementing her fragile figure. Her black skirt was accompanied by a black and thin trouser, where the outlines of her skin were visable. She wore boots to make herself a little taller.
After taking a deep breath, she left the elevator and rushed towards the street, her beige coat flattering behind her, her white small bag moving all around her back.
Seojun was leaning on to a silver car – the one of his dad. He whistled lightly when he saw Minseo. „Do you want them to think you are an Idol?", he greeted her, hugging her light but tight. Minseo shook her head. „I just wanted to not look like a zombie." „You never do.", he opened the back door seat and Minseo moved inside, greeting the driver like an old friend. „Thank you for picking me up." „Anytime, Miss Minseo.", he replied with a smile. As Seojun sat down and put his belt on, the driver started the car and they left the apartment complex. The car drive was unspectacular for most parts and they arrived at the hotel too fast for her liking. „Oh look", Seojun scoffed. „Cindy, Alex and friends are also already here." Minseo tilted her head lightly. She saw the four girls wearing very short and revealing clothes, Alex was a bit more relaxed, though he seemed to be annoyed at every male glancing at them. „They really think the idols want to get in bed with them?", Seojun mumbled. The driver stopped. „I really hope, you will not tell me disturbing things later.", he mumbled before shooting them both a glance. „I wish you the best of luck." „Thanks.", they replied in unisono and moved out the car.
„Finally!", Cindy huffed at them. „Why are you so late?" Seojun raised his eyebrows. „We are 15 minutes earlier than expected." „Yeah, well we have been here since an hour because we thought we might get to see them earlier.", Alex replied. Seojun shrugged his shoulders. „Not my problem." He put a hand on Minseos back and moved them to the hotel entry. The two could hear the other five being annoyed and frustrated before quickly following them.
The hotel lobby was not as big as some of them expected. In fact, the entire hotel seemed a little small and less impressive for a popular kpop boy band. „Maybe they did it, so people do not immediately notice them.", Minseo mumbled as Cindy complained. Said girl moved to her. „I did not ask you. Besides why are you even wearing a mask?" Amy Wright, one of her best friends, moved and spoke before Minseo got her one chance: „Because she is so ugly. She is embarrassed of herself." A smug smirk lay on the faces of Amy and Cindy. „Yah! Watch what-„ Seojun started but was cut off by an unfamiliar voice. „You seven must be the students.", surprised they all turned. A male and female stood in front of them, a clipcard hanging around their neck. „Yep.", Cindy flipped her hair back but the faces of the two people remained unfaced. „Please follow us.", they gestured accordingly and the students scrambled behind them.
After walking for five minutes through various halls, walking down stairs only to walk up again, they reached a big conference room. It was bright, the window front giving perfect view of the New Yorker City chaos. Just as the students sat down their bags and jackets, the door opened and in came a bunch of people – at last, the seven members of NCT Dream. „Oh my god.", Minseo heard gasps to her right and glanced into their direction to see Cindy, Amy, Elisabeth and Clarissa gasping and squeeling. Alex looked rather unbothered, only lightly tensing when noting the members. Seojun on her left side, moved closer: „I give them a week to last." Minseo shot him a glance.
