Message to My Readers

Dear Reader,
Thank you. Thank you for picking up this book, for giving a brand-new writer like me a space in your mind and heart. Writing Dear Wolfe was terrifying and thrilling all at once. I was afraid of not getting it right. Afraid of being too much, or not enough. Afraid of telling a story that was too raw, too real.
But I kept going because I believe stories like this matter—the messy ones, the complicated ones, the ones that don't promise perfect endings but instead offer something deeper: understanding.
I hope that somewhere in these chapters, you find a piece of yourself you had forgotten, or a feeling you thought was lost. I hope you feel seen. I hope you feel less alone.
Most of all, I hope you remember that you, too, are allowed to be complicated, broken, healing, fierce, tender—all at once.
I am so grateful you're here, reading these words. This is just the beginning. I can't wait to share the rest of the journey with you.

With all my love,
K.C. Litworth

Foreword

There are stories that haunt you long before they ever find the page. Dear Wolfe was one of those for me.
I wrote this book during a time when I was learning that love is not always gentle, that people are rarely simple, and that sometimes, the greatest battles are the ones we fight silently inside ourselves.
This is a story about darkness and light, about longing and fear, about the pieces of ourselves we dare to show—and the ones we try so hard to hide.
As a first-time writer, I poured everything I had into these pages: the heartbreaks I survived, the dreams I was afraid to voice, the quiet hope that even in the most broken places, something beautiful can still grow.
If you've ever loved someone you couldn't have, fought against a fate you didn't choose, or simply struggled to find your place in a world that often demands perfection, then maybe, just maybe, Dear Wolfe will feel like coming home.
Thank you for trusting me with a piece of your heart. I hope you find yourself somewhere between the lines.

Dedication

For the ones who loved in silence.
For the ones who lost and kept loving anyway.
For the dreamers who keep writing their stories in the dark, even when no one is watching.
This is for you.

Acknowledgments

Writing Dear Wolfe was like bleeding onto the page—slow, honest, and deeply personal. But finishing it? That took a kind of faith I didn't always have.

First, I want to thank God—for the strength, the silence, the whispers I didn't always understand, and the grace that got me to the final word. Even in stories tangled with desire and darkness, I've felt Your presence.

To J.G. Lynn—thank you for being my editor, my proofreader, my late-night advisor, and my fiercest hype woman. You didn't just help shape the book—you helped shape me. Your loyalty, your voice, and your vision brought Dear Wolfe to life.

To my friends who held me through writer's block, imposter syndrome, and self-doubt—thank you. You believed in the story even when I couldn't see the ending.

To my readers, From United states, New York, and all around the world—thank you for carrying my voice across oceans. Being a storyteller from a place often overlooked, I write with you in my heart and home in my bones.

And to you, the reader who took a chance on a new author—thank you for letting this story into your world.

With every beat of gratitude,
K.C. Litworth
