My mind is in chaos;
My heart, in tatters.
My soul starts to darken
As my world shatters.
The devil mocks me,
Or so it seems,
As my world is torn,
Ripped by the seams.
I try to hide it
Behind a fake smile.
I hide this darkness,
So sick, so vile.
I try to stay strong
For my loved one's sake.
I fight the belief that
Deaths is my only escape.
As I fall farther and deeper
Into insanity and despair,
I soon drop the act;
I'm too far gone to care.
"That's it," I think,
"This is the end.
I'm alone with Insanity
As my only friend."
