It's Saturday morning and I roll out of bed to grab a jacket because the tank I slept in isn't quite warm enough.

I wash my face and brush my teeth before I slip on my bunny slippers and head through my balcony door to the treehouse to get breakfast at the Evermores.

I woke up a little late, so when I walk in, Jax is letting Hazel chase him and are running around the kitchen.
Chase and Cole are eating breakfast with John and my dad is washing some dishes.

"Damn did you sleep in long enough?" Cole jokes as I walk in and pour a cup of coffee.
"Says you," I laugh because Cole normally sleeps in until noon everyday.

"Your plate is over by the stove," Chase says lowly and nonchalantly.

I walk over to grab my breakfast— french toast— and sit down beside the boys to eat.

I take a couple bites and my mouth is filled with gooey cinnamon goodness.
"Micheal said we should meet him there around 3," I say.

"Sounds good, I planned on getting a work out in before we leave," Cole says.
I laugh a little thinking he was joking but I get a straight face from him in return.
"Since when do you work out?" I ask.

He scrunches his brows a little. "I workout," he says, pretending that he's offended. "I mean feel these biceps," he flexs and moves closer to me, motioning for me to feel them.

"Mhm, look at you go," I say back sarcastically.
If I didn't know better I'd say that he was a little.. flirtatous with me?

I think Chase noticed it to because I glance to the side of the table he's sitting at and his head is faced towards his plate, but his eyes are directly on me and Cole, analyzing our interaction.

He blinks a couple times and then goes back to eating.

We're about to leave to go to the boardwalk and Ameila walks down the stairs.
She's wearing a white crocheted top with blue jean shorts and a pair of Nike sneakers with blue detailing.

Her hair is down and she has on the same signature jewelry that she wears every day—one silver necklace, one silver bracelet and three diamong earrings in each ear.

"We about ready to go?" She says as she walks up to the couch and I get a whiff of the vanilla perfume she wears.

I nod my head.
"Where's Cole?" she asks.

"I'm right here," Cole shouts from the top of the stairs.
"Hurry your ass up," she says.

"Why the rush Amelia? Can't make Micheal boy wait?" he jokes.
She rolls her eyes but I can tell she's holding back a smile and starting to blush ever so slightly.

"How'd your workout go?" she asks as we all begin to walk towards the door.
"Eh, pretty good, I'll probably be like shredded by the end of summer," he jokes as he holds open the front door.

She just rolls her eyes again and laughs as she playfully slaps him on the arm.

"Here," Cole tosses my keys at me and I catch them in my hand and then shut the door behind me.

As we walk to the car, I think about the way they've been recently.
They seem kinda how they used to act but ..a little different?

I'm not sure how to explain it.
Cole hasn't said anything to me about it but it seems like they're almost flirtatous with each other?
