Chapter 1: Introduction
Garcia's POV
I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just woke up in my one bedroom apartment, and was about to get ready to head out with some friends for the day, when the phone rang.
I ran to answer it. I had been patiently awaiting a call from the local Behavioural Analysis Unit. I had recently applied for an opening for a Technical Analyst a couple weeks ago. I wasn't expecting to hear back. But yet, here I was on the phone talking to the Unit Chief of the BAU Agent Hotchner, about when I would start my first shift, which turned out to be in a few hours.
Morgan's POV
The day at the BAU had started off as it normally did. JJ, Reid, Prentiss, Rossi and I all checked in with Hotch to see what cases we would be dealing with. Everything was going perfectly normal until Hotch said we would be getting a new co-worker. A female co-worker at that.
"Her name is Penelope Garcia, she has been hired to be the new Technical Analyst here at the BAU". explained Hotch
"Oh great! More female hormones gunna be around here" exclaimed Rossi sarcastically
"I actually like the sound of having another female around here" said JJ "I'm tired of me and Prentiss being out numbered!"
"Actually regardless of whether she came here or not you'd still be........ said Reid
"Can it Reid! Prentiss snapped
"So Hotch what's the new case aboutf today?" I asked not wanting to talk about my new female co-worker any longer
