Lost in Hazy Lane

Start from the beginning

Lie-in: Great Enma on an easy chair.

They walked for a few more minutes trying to find a way out of this crazy field. Lie-in led the front seeing if he could find any way of them leaving the field, Cue-tee took the middle following Lie-in while indulging in her Dual-screen device, and Armsman took up the rear although not being able to see he trusted the navigation of his friends. Just when things were looking normal for them, something tapped Armsman on the shoulder. When he turned he saw nothing, of course, considering he had no eyes, but if he did he would have seen the strange shadow-ish cyclops demon behind him.

Armsman: ...?

The shadow demon's eye opened revealing a mouth with sharp teeth before it roared a ghastly roar at the headless soldier. Frightened, Armsman ran away until he bumped into Cue-tee, who bumped into Lie-in.

Lie-in: Armsman! What have we told you about running in a straight line?

Armsman: (Nervous silence)

Lie-in: Exactly. What did you even see- Er, run from?

Armsman began to fall his arms trying to imitate a deery phantasm.

Lie-in: Some sort of phantom?

Armsman: (Nodding)

Lie-in: You must have imagined it, there isn't anything out here.

Cue-Tee: *Except for that guy! ➡*

The arrow of Cue-Tee's cue card pointed to a giant crayfish that shrieked at the trio before it came closer. The trio in return ran like the Infinite Inferno.

Lie-in: What's a giant crayfish doing here?!

Cue-Tee: *Maybe he's here for the seafood buffet.*

Lie-in: In which case, that's us!

Just when the crustacean had them within claw range, a giant violet shuriken flew by and cut it in half making it disappear. The shuriken flew backward before it reached its handler- Nul.

Nul: Hi, friends.

Lie-in: What are you doing here?

Nul: I found this charming place to be calming and peaceful. I came out here to train.

Cue-Tee: *Could you point us to the exit?*

Nul: Sorry, but even I don't know the way out of here. Sometimes I even question if there was an exit at all.

Lie-in: (Sigh) Thanks anyway, Nul. Come on, you two.

After waving bye to Nul, the three resumed their trek through this confounding maze-like field. But they didn't seem to notice that the shadow demon from before was following them.

The three had walked for an unknown amount of distance for an unknown amount of time. And what was worse, a mysterious fog had rolled in blinding their view. But there was nothing they could do, so they just had to grin and bear it.

Lie-in: Ugh, how long have we been walking?

Cue-Tee: *I'm too tired to keep walking but I'm too tired to stop.*

Armsman: ...

Lie-in was getting rather hungry. He looked back to see his friends, only for Cue-Tee to appear as a dumpling and Armsman a ramen cup. He quickly shook his head before his hungry delusions took over and he'd do something he would regret later. As they continued to tread through the fog they saw a faint glow. Coming closer to the glow they spotted an oden stall with none other than the master behind the stove.
