Inspector Thomas Thorne: Hello, Miss Sefton. Is he one of your charges?
Of course, Kim had an argument or two against the inspectors' suspicions of Ray.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: No, he's not the one.
After defending her man, Ray, Kim pointed her finger at Cruella.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton (continued): She is. Why suspect Ray?
Of course, Inspector Thorne had his own argument against even such a respectable probation officer as Kim.
Inspector Thomas Thorne: Caught him red-handed.
Since Inspector Thorne and his partner, Assistant Inspector Seville, had a point to prove to Scotland Yard that they belonged in such a place, the inspector had to argue against Ray.
Inspector Thomas Thorne (continued): And he's got a record for dognapping.
Naturally since this helped to convenience Cruella making him into her fall guy, the devil woman grew a lot happier with this newfound fact that Ray, the so-called dog-lover, had a dognapping conviction, himself. Granted, it was nothing Miss DeVil had counted on. Nonetheless, the devil woman still smiled deviously at this newfound knowledge.
Cruella 'Ella' DeVil/Estella von Hellman: Mmm.
Carlisle and Harriette, however, had grown quite disgusted at their so-called human pet wanting to frame an innocent person for a crime he did not commit.
Carlisle: This is getting quite disgusting, Harriette.
Harriette: I agree, Carlisle. Can't these police officers tell even the smallest differences between a real criminal and a fall person? I thought Scotland Yard was supposed to be the best in the world at this.
Of course, Ray, himself, had something to say to Kim about what had been going on with him at the time.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: I can explain, Kim.
But then, Inspector Thorne, who had a point to prove to Scotland Yard, itself, interrupted Ray's trial at an explanation to his beloved Kim.
Inspector Thomas Thorne: Yes, indeed. You can explain where you were last night.
Of course, that was when Spixington just had to interrupt Ray's explanation to Kim, himself.
Spixington: He was home, kissin' her.
Naturally, Ray just blushed up an even larger storm of red on his face at Spixington's comment about him having kissed Kim the prior night. At the risk of any further embarrassment in explaining where he was the night prior to that same morning at his own dog shelter, the blond decided to simply say he had been doing one thing the night before that morning the team of inspectors came. He still held a relentlessly red blush on his face as he explained to the team of inspectors from Scotland Yard exactly where he had been that prior night, though. Ray could not have been any more embarrassed than he was about having been completely in love with a woman like Kim. The blond had been even more embarrassed about the fact that he had been in love with the chocolate brunette probation officer since the first time he saw her.
Since he could just barely understand how Ray felt about Kim, Inspector Thorne did not appreciate his prime suspect acting like a fool in the face of police business.
Inspector Thomas Thorne: Oh, do stop concealing your face and get on with it, sir!
From that point, it was not as though the inspector's prime suspect had any other choice than to talk about where Ray had been the night before that morning when said blond had been questioned and searched by Scotland Yard. The poor blond still held onto that same all too obvious blush evident on his face, however, as he tried to explain in his own less embarrassing words to the team of Scotland Yard inspectors where he was the night before they arrived at his dog shelter's front doorstep.
