Just as Oddball was getting even further and further up into the sky, a plan suddenly hit Raymond.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Spixington.
Meanwhile, Kimberly just continued worrying about exactly how high Oddball was getting by then.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: Oddball!
As Kim worried about Oddball, Ray grabbed a hold of Spixington's feet and held onto him from within his hand. The blond even spoke to the blue Spix macaw about some encouragement to finally fly like he was actually meant to.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Now's your chance, Spixington. All you have to do is just fly up there and just cut a few of the strings.
Of course, it had only been natural for Kim to have gotten even more worried about if Spixington even knew not to cut all of the strings holding Oddball and the spotted dog puppet to all the balloons.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: Not all of them!
Ray suddenly realized that he needed to tell Spixington specifically to only cut a select few of the balloon strings entangling Oddball and the spotted dog puppet.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Right! Right, just a few! Come on. This is your chance, Spixington! You can do it! Fly!
Then, Ray tried to throw Spixington into the air to fly, only for the selfishly delusional blue Spix macaw to once again stubbornly refuse to even try to fly against his beliefs in his dog-hood, of which Spixington actually had practically none a trace.
Spixington: No! Ow! Let go of my paw, ya twit! I told ya I couldn't fly.
Ray just groaned in frustration at Spixington's stubborn delusion clouding the blue Spix macaw's senses even then and there within their emergency situation. Meanwhile, Kim just continued worrying about Oddball as the unspotted dalmatian puppy and her spotted dog hand puppet captive only got higher and higher.
Spixington (continued): Honestly!
Ray then placed a reassuring hand on Kim's shoulder as she still worried her heart out about Oddball floating up in the sky via a horde of balloons. The blond assured the brunette that there was another way to rescue the spotless dalmatian pup from the balloon horde.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Don't worry. I'll go.
With those exact words from said blond, Ray started on the path he said he would have taken to rescue Oddball from the balloon horde. He jumped back over the fence surrounding the property for the 'Punch and Judy' puppet show which was put on by Professor Lawrence Sizzle before the unspotted dalmatian puppy interrupted the puppeteer professor's puppet show in pursuit of what she thought to be her spots. On his way after her, however, he had to climb up an occupied ladder as a worker for Queen Elizabeth I's Garden park had been working on fixing something with the garden's lunch café which seemed to be a problem with it. He noticed Ray climbing the very same ladder which he, himself, occupied at the time. The garden maintenance employee tried to tell Ray to remove himself from the occupied ladder.
Queen Elizabeth I's Garden maintenance employee: Hey, hey, what ya doin'? Hey, get off_
It was to no avail for the garden maintenance employee, though, as Ray was a man on a mission to rescue a pup that caused a ruckus. The ruckus even continued with the garden maintenance employee falling off the ladder as Ray just had to get passed him on his way to rescue Oddball and her spotted dog puppet captive.
Queen Elizabeth I's Garden maintenance employee (continued): Ow!
As for Kim, the brunette in question grew quite impressed with Ray's burst of audacity towards the rescue of her dogs' unspotted puppy. It broke a few laws, here and there, but he did it all to rescue Oddball from the horde of balloons and herself. The blond raced across the rooftops of Queen Elizabeth I's Garden Square and all the way to the playground for children until he finally caught up with the surprisingly spotless dalmatian puppy. As Ray jumped for the balloons holding Oddball and the spotted dog puppet captive, Kim and the rest of the dogs caught up to them both at the same time. The brunette, herself, even let forth a sigh of relief as the blond showed up on the slide with the unspotted puppy.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Got her.
Ray felt extra embarrassed about his disruption of the children's fun on the slide as he just got out of their way and slid down, with Oddball, the spotted dog puppet and the gaggle of balloons still in his arms. The blond then rushed to Kim so she could help him untangle Oddball from the horde of balloons into which she had tangled herself. Even while Ray felt thoroughly embarrassed by the scene he put on while having to rescue Oddball, Kim was thoroughly impressed with and very grateful to Ray for his rescue of the unspotted dalmatian puppy. The brunette then grabbed her two dogs' spotless puppy from the blond.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: Oddball. Oh.
Kim and Ray just continued to untangle Oddball from the horde of balloons which held her and the spotted dog puppet captive while they were in the air when the chocolate brunette started wanting to know just what she could have done for the blond to express her gratitude to him.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton (continued): Oh, Raymond. I don't know_
Then as the balloon strings surrounding Oddball had finally almost gotten untangled, Kim did not realize quickly enough that there was still one string which still held onto her dogs' puppy.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: Whoops!
Luckily for both Kim and Oddball, Ray noticed the string which still hold onto the unspotted dalmatian puppy and took it off from her front leg. Kim still barely even noticed and just continued wanting to thank Ray in some way, any way the chocolate brunette could have.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: _ how I can thank you.
Then, Spixington interrupted Ray's gratitude fest with the girl of his dreams and shot an offer for gratitude at Kim in which to thank Ray.
Spixington: Uh, how 'bout dinner?
It naturally came as no surprise that Spixington's offer for Kim to thank Ray for rescuing Oddball had definitely caught the chocolate brunette very much off-guard, to say the least.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: I'm sorry?
Of course, Spixington's offer for Kim to accept a dinner invitation on a night out with Ray left the blond far more nervous about the possibility of rejection right out of the gate than if he, himself, had asked out the chocolate brunette instead of one of his animals doing the asking for him. Ray could barely even breathe; he was so nervous about inviting Kim to even just a dinner together.
Raymond 'Ray' Millerson: I was inviting you to dinner.
Ray even did things such as silently gulp at the very thought of going on a date with Kim, of all women he knew. Kim, herself, however, only looked at Ray for a sign that he had hit his head or something. The blond only looked at the chocolate brunette, gasping for breath with his own nerves toward his blue Spix macaw having to have asked her out for him instead of asking her out, himself. As soon as she saw how secretly desperate he had to have been for her to accept, she could see no reason to decline.
Kimberly 'Kim/Kimmy' Sefton: Dinner would be nice.
Then, Ray let forth a breath he had been holding in since Spixington had to ask Kim out for him. He was so relieved that she accepted his dinner invitation, he almost did not notice that he let the balloons go. Those balloons still held the spotted dog puppet. They also still needed to be returned to the balloon salesman. Luckily, the blond in question was quick to realize that he had let go of them and almost let them float away with the spotted dog puppet still within the gaggle of balloons. He caught the balloons just in time to prevent them all from floating off into space while still holding onto the spotted dog puppet in tow.
