"This doesn't seem so bad" Stiles reasoned as we walked through the small town.

"It's not the town it's the plan" Lydia countered back in an annoyed tone.

"What's wrong with the plan?" Stiles asked, seeming a bit offended that she was hating on his plan.

"Stiles" I argued. "This could be the stupidest plan we've ever come up with you're aware of this, right?"

"I'm aware it's not our best" he said slowly while running a hand through his hair.

"We are going to die" Lydia said nervously and I couldn't help but agree that the outlook didn't seem good for us.

"Are you saying this as a banshee or are you just being pessimistic?" Stiles asked also seeming a bit nervous.

"I think she's saying it as someone who doesn't want to die" I informed and Stiles shot me a glare

"Camden please just shhh" Stiles said while putting a finger to my mouth which I immediately shoved away. He turned to Lydia. "And Lydia, would you mind restricting any talk of death to actual banshee predictions."

"This plan is stupid and we are going to die" Lydia sassed back and I couldn't help but laugh which I then awkwardly covered up with a cough.

"Oh thank you!" Stiles replied sarcastically and we headed towards the street corner and made our way to the party.

We came up to the gate and two men were standing guard at the door. Lydia said something in Spanish which loosely translated to 'we're here for the party' I'm not sure I'm barely passing English. According to my dad the only language I'm fluent in is sarcasm. The guard just shook his head no and we resorted to plan b.

Stiles sighed but nevertheless pulled the card out of his pocket that had the Calaveras hunting symbol on it.

The guard gave a quick glance to a security camera and Stiles seemed to get the picture. He moved closer and held the card up. The door buzzed and the guards moved to let us through.

We walked down an empty hall that seemed to be vibrating a bit because of the music. Stiles protectively pulled Lydia and I closer as we walked towards the door at the end of the hallway. I pushed it open to reveal a lot of sweaty teenagers. well damn.

We made our way to the bar and took a seat. What we sure as hell weren't expecting were three drinks to just be handed to us. I gladly reached for mine but Lydia slapped my hand away "no way Camden you're only 15" she said sternly and I rolled my eyes.

Stiles ignoring our conversation, pulled out his wallet to pay for them but immediately froze when he heard a Spanish voice from behind. "No, on the house." He said but when none of us took the drinks he continued. "Most American teenagers don't cross the border to refuse a drink"

"We didn't come to drink" Lydia replied coolly as I took the bullet I had been holding on to and dropped it in the glass.

He nodded and then led us upstairs to meet Araya. She had one of those killer vibes. "Severo hates this music." She said while using a knife to cut holes in a cloth. "I've always loved the music of youth. This kind especially. It has a savage energy."

"We're here for Derek Hale" I said cutting her off and it seemed like for the first time she noticed my presence.

"And who are you exactly?" She asked while narrowing her eyes and I fidgeted awkwardly. I wasn't supposed to tell her who I am cause she knows my father, and if she figures out that I'm also a werewolf then she'll more than likely kill me.

"Uhh- I'm ah uh Miguel" I said cringing as the name left my mouth. "Stiles' cousin" I finished.

Lydia rolled her eyes and Stiles seemed to find the whole situation amusing as I brought up the old memory.

"Anyways" Lydia said before it could get anymore awkward. "We know you have him, we've heard that he can be bought. Stiles grabbed the money from his pocket and laid it on the table.

"It's 50,000 for Derek" he explained nervously.

"No where does a teenage boy get money like this? The Japanese mafia?" She taunted as her guards cocked their guns. "Not smart to come alone."

"What makes you think we came alone?" I asked smoothly and I mentally high fived myself I was like a character in a James Bond movie.

"You brought a wolf into my home?" She accused and I had to stop myself from standing up and saying 'whaddup bitch'.

"No we brought an alpha." Stiles said and Severo talked into his radio.

"My friends I don't think you're aware of you're poor timing. Do you know what the dark moon is?" She asked while getting up to look out the window.

"The part of the lunar phase where the moon is least visible in the sky" Lydia answered.

"But do you know it's meaning?" She countered back.

"Some people say it's a time of reflection or grief" I said proud that I could add to the conversation. Stiles gave me a fist bump under the table.

"Grief and loss mija" she agreed "I wonder why when you and your friends have already lost so much you would risk it for someone like Derek Hale." I held in the tears as best as I could as I thought about my lost sister. I missed her so much.

"Because we don't like to loose" Stiles said and I nodded my head in agreement trying to shake off the feelings of sadness and guilt.

The people on the radios were talking quickly in Spanish and it killed me that I didn't know what they were saying.

They cleared the west, east, and south doors but when the north didn't respond I knew something was up.

"Stiles take ten off the table" I heard Scott say and I couldn't help but smile. Stiles grabbed one of the rolls of money and put it back in his pocket.

"Maybe you should just take the deal" Lydia persisted.

"While I'm keen to follow the warning of a banshee I'm going to have to decline.

"Just give us Derek you don't want him anyway. He's a poor conversationist and a constant downer. Just come one take the money" Stiles pleaded.

"Severo show them how the Calaveras negotiate."

Next thing we know smoke comes out of nowhere and damn it was painful. "Wolfsbane" I whispered before losing consciousness and blacking out.
